A friend of mine with small kids has a home with a floor over looking the living room. They have a vertical net that hooks up to the ceiling upstairs down to the floor of the second floor to prevent their kids from falling if they crawl up the banister, etc. It can be easily removed because the net is connected to ceiling hooks via carabiners at the top and small steal hoops that carabiners can connect to on the second floor.

That's marvellous walking! Well done for adjusting it for him- he's moving so fast now he's more over his legs. He's making more movement each time he pushed, so he is faster so it is more fun. Excellent

Tubie mama here. If Beckham doesn't finish his packet of baby food you could use the 60ml syringe and push it through his gtube. Also if you ever feel that he tastes the pill there's a trick thats been floating around lately... take the slip tip that you use to change the button out and put the pill in, pull up ab 2 or 3 mls of water, plug the tip with your thumb and pull back and let it slap back a few times and it's completely dissolved and you can push it through the tube.

Most pharmacies have the pill cutters at the RX counter. Adjusting the gate trainer for his height growth, really helped. Good call momma ♡

I enjoyed seeing Blakely reaction to the water. I knew she was going to love it. Because Blakely loves playing with the water from the kitchen sink. In the colder weather, you can bring the water table in and fill it with kinetic sand.... Kids have a ball....use it as " the messy play" table...The kids will love it all year. I had totally forgotten how much my grands loved theirs..... I was " served" many "foods and drinks" from it...

I wonder if either grippy or socks inside his shoes would help? A size smaller could also. He totally moved his feet independent of each other! Also, a dual exercise you could try when he sits up is having his arms behind him to help prop him up. That would give his arms strength and also teach him how to fall more controlled. You might want to be with him at first to make sure he doesn't fall the wrong way and really hurt his arm though.

The first time beckham was trying to eat and he kept turning his head, its like he knew "no daddy, not on camera today". He is so sweet and Blakely is amazing as well. The baby laughs are soo cute. A pill organizer has been a true lifesaver when it comes to did he already get his meds for my little guy. My little guy gets his Baclofen 3 times a day along with a pill for his thyroid and 3 liquid meds though. But a pill organizer might help if in a pinch someone other then you needs to give his meds. Your videos always brighten my day and make me feel less alone in this CP/ medically fragile journey we are living. Much love to you and your family!

I just want to make it clear I did not mean this as anything against what the are doing or their house I was more curious if he would be excited to use it in a different place. I think they are doing an amazing job and I like that their house is the way it is because in this world there are many places not setup for wheel chairs or people with different needs and it teaches individuals to find ways to get around or ask others for help. They know whats best for him. I am an educational assistant in Canada and have worked with children with different abilities and am seeing the world change and become more accessible to all but we still have a long way to go.

You can turn down the water pressure so that the fountain ⛲ part of the splash pad isn't so high. I adjust the water pressure as they're in it. (Plus it helps save my water bill not having it on full blast the whole time) lol 🥲

You should try getting Beckham some of the plain white Keds that ties, they are really good first walking shoes, affordable and cute! All 4 of my kids have had them as their first walking shoes and another pair there after just because they are such good quality shoes for younger kiddos learning to walk😘 as always, praying for y'all🥰

I think Beckam enjoys the gait trainer..do people or kids use those as main way to get around in replacement of wheelchair? If so that seems like a really good option for him to continue on his path of walking and increase mobility now.i am so glad he likes it. Because his eyes light up and worth it. I have seen a million people as this but i think beckam would love one of those bouncer jumper swing things. Or maybe even some swings they both would love. I saw thic cool swing for their sizes that hooks into doorways and is secure. It looked so fun and safe. Blakley is getting pretty clear. Some of the babble is starting to be comprehensible..it's soo crazy to hear how it's actually turned into words. I noticed last vlog I think she said hold me.

Is Beckham in speech and feeding therapy. They can help with the mouth sensitivity. That also might be something you guys can do at home. Speech therapy possibly could have toys that vibrate and things like that that could get him used to different things in his mouth.

You can get a pill crusher and mix his pill with warm water and put it in his tube. You can get the proper syringe from the company where you get hour supply's. If for some reason he won't take it.

My friends have a baby backpack (that they wear on their infant ) with a somewhat flat cushioned circle shaped pillow at the back of the head area so as go protect their baby's head when he falls backwards. Maybe that would help precious Beckhem instead of all the pillows around him?(sorry about the spelling)... God bless your family! 🙏😊

When I saw it I wished they had those when my kids started crawling, because where I live, we don't have carpeting, just hard tile flooring. Anyway, its not heavy in the slightest. Its like a stuffed animal, except in the shape of a backpack. The child forgets he's wearing it, but that pillow part on the height of the back of the head is a lifesaver!!
