You are correct - it’s not all happy and calm 😂 social media is just small snippets of reality and I have my fair share of moments crying to my husband when I’m overwhelmed hahaha. For me the biggest thing that allows me to stay positive is my faith - I really do believe the Holy Spirit equips me with what I need every day and in every moment to remain patient, loving etc with my family. Perspective is huge too!! This season is so short in the grand scheme of life and I know there will be times when I’m older that I’ll wish I could come back to this stage, even on one of the harder days. Motherhood is SO challenging but it’s also my favourite job I’ve ever had. ❤️

I’m so glad you introduced me to merit! I love their products. I have sensitive skin, including eczema and I have found that merit is the only brand I use now because it works so good. I never liked to wear makeup but now I don’t mind at all. It’s minimal and makes me feel beautiful. Plus the bag is the cutest! Yes it does wash great.

We got a used Honda Odyssey van used and it was pretty cheap! I’d recommend it’s a great van 😊

No way, 18 months is way too early to stop naps. It’s a regression. My first boy napped until around 2.5-3 years and second boy is currently 25 months and still napping up to 2.5hrs. On average He wakes at 6am and naps around 12pm-2pm & bed 7pm. He has been on this routine pretty consistently for several months now. I never let mine skip a nap even if I had to get them in the car and take a book with me, read the bible, journal, watch a KZbin ect.,

Yes and no - it’s a long story… 😂 when he lived with us full time he would stay with my dad whenever we were away! The last time he stayed with my dad, it ended up being a couple of weeks and then my dad asked us if he could keep him full time after that. My dad is single + lives alone and Max is his whole world. 😂 they’ve always loved each other so much so Jared and I said yes because it’s worth it to see my dad so happy! It was sad for me at first, but our kids will only ever remember him as “Papa’s dog” and we get to see him whenever we visit my dad/or my dad goes away so it’s worked out well. ❤️

You must live in a place where accidents don't happen ❤ I hate having had paid monthly insurance just to get tboned and have the other person's insurance company value my car as $300 less than the damage reported, and therefore it's a total loss and they won't fix the car, just give me $1000 less for a buyback salvaged title. I told my husband nah, never driving an old car again, until the new car we invest in becomes old over the next 20 years. I'm not down to be legally scammed in the near future 😢 my favorite car completely defaced and i have to drive around with that
