So I take care of my toddler on Monday & Tuesday and hubby does it rest of the days during the day. During the mornings it’s mostly cooking lunch cleaning up while playing with him. My elder one entertains him in the back yard if I’m busy cooking taking breaks from his online school. Today he wanted his big bro to feed him lunch so we decided to sit in the backyard. And girl, that napping thing, I feel it. Yesterday i decided to make something exotic for dinner so had to do some prep work while he slept in the afternoon. And mid way my prep work, he gets up within 11/2 hrs !!! 😢😢😢 then it was constant crying nagging every now and then till he went to bed at 11 pm. I was exhausted like a dog .. I cannot wait to login to my work laptop on Wednesday. 🤯😖😊 Doing dishes is another thing. I wish mommies got a break from all of this!! I’m exhausted ..

My son is only a month older than Ryleigh and hes in a toddler bed and gets up whenever he wants i life on the top floor of a flat and hes constantly climbing up but hes been walking since he was 11months old so i woudnt say shes more active than most children her age shes right on track

Thank u for being real. It's so comforting to know tht ur not alone in the struggles of being quarantined with a toddler. I love my baby but sometimes I'm just exhausted of trying to keep her from doing things tht cud hurt her and then we have loud crying bcz of it. I feel a lot better now. thank u❤

Ry is a pretty typical toddler getting into everything, falling down all the time, pushing the limits, etc. My youngest is 10 and my oldest is 22. I still remember the short nap days and they definitely make for a long frustrating day. The only blessing I found in short nap days was it meant it would be early to bed at night. Hang in there we will all get through this together and thanks for just being you💕💕

My son loves running tours the couch and jumping off not only once but multiple times. So I literally just put a small mattress from IKEA next to the couch. He finds it so amazing when he lets himself fall. He is literally running non stop the whole day unless it’s nap time or bed time. I’ve been lucky with the sleeping part, he loves his nap time.

my son was even more activ at that age and he still is.. he jumps from the couch tries to climb on the tv etc. it gives me peace of mind seeing that other moms have the same problems

Omg i know EXACTLY what you mean!!! I have a 19 month daughter and she doesn't stop!!!! But thankfully we have a big yard and she goes crazy out there..... we have chickens, turkeys, a dog and a pony and she loves it out there. Which is the only thing saving me from goin crazy!! She loves being outside more than inside! But man when it's raining/cold outside its a total nightmare because she's stuck inside and thats when alcohol helps me! Oh girl i feel ya! My son is 2 years old and he is definitely like your daughter. I have hid all of his bigger toys and chairs because he uses them to climb up on everything. Then he outsmarted me and learned to climb up on things with out the chairs ect. Lol. He is always getting himself hurt. But it seems to always bumping his poor head. But i k iw how you feel and you are truly an amazing mother. I love these videos you make thank you for these.

Yes! My boy is a few days younger than your daughter & omg for a while now since he was crawling and pulling himself up; he gets on couch then climbs onto the back of the couch to get stuff as well.. We have this long “island” shelf that he’s constantly trying to get up on.. lol. & your so right! They need social interaction.. we mainly only visited with family members anyway. On My spouse side and my side. Cousins, grandparents, uncles. So it’s hard.. we just continue our daily walks & outdoor play as much as we can.. but that doesn’t replace the times where we visited and got out of the house for more than a walk.. Even though it’s what’s safest etc, I’m not trying to complain. I know many have had it much much worse, but ugh I just wish this was a horrible nightmare and would end already :(

My daughter jumps off of everything and thinks she’s a cat. I recommend getting a play set for your backyard. Just one of the plastic Fischer price ones. We have one that has a water feature.

Believe me, shes not too active. So i have a 15 month old and he is a very very active little guy. He literally climbs up on the couch, says oopsie, and throws himself backwards onto the floor. He enjoys being on the verge of falling and then laughs when my heart races and I run to save him. Ive gotten used to it because while hes slow with talking, hes extremely physicially advanced. Hes been legit walking since 9 months and climbing things since 11. Oh he also digs the walls with spoons and toys and we are renting, so thats gonna be a problem. I honestly dont understand how he can hurt himself so much yet not cry. As a mom i get so scared but m uh husband is super into the whole oh hes a boy let him get hurt thing. Surprisingly he can fall off the couch on ourpose and be okay lol. All i can do is put a bunch of pillows on the floor and hope for the best lol

oh ya. My 13 month old made it a mission of hers to start walking when she was 9 months old and it has been a constant battle keeping her out of EVERYTHING!!!! If she gets a pack of wipes, they're all getting thrown out, kleenex thrown. Bottle of body wash she'll squeeze it all out. She chases the cats, takes out everything I put away and throws tantrums like no other lol.

yeah toddler are hand full let her do it when she hurts she will learn. mine climbed everything untill she fell then she realized it hurts. The more you say no she will go there so do the opposite lol. She isn't pulling stuff out of drawer mine loved empty the drawers so I didn't clean up after her and she got hurt then she figured it out why we put stuff away lol. She is just getting started.
