lt’s so crazy to see how much Shane has changed, I’ve been here for 11 years, I used to get the feeling that Shane didnt love himself very much at all and, in the past few years it really feels like hes growing alot, he seems so confident and wholesome and it really suits him. Ryland you have been such a positive person in his life, he’s really lucky to have you. And you’re both amazing dads, it’s really nice to have known you both for this whole journey all the way from the drunk boyfriend tag to Jet and Max :) Different lifestages but I’ve definitely grown up with you both.. I was 7, yes SEVEN years old when I found Shane. So, I have known you for almosttt as long as he has. I’m turning 18 in 5 days and I feel ready for life now honestly, so thank you both so much.

Adoption is also quite expensive but that's the route we are trying to take now. We own our house but live on fixed incomes is enough to provide a loving home and that Is all I want. I don't need them to be my blood. Just want to nurture and love a child the needs it

I highly recommend never stressing about keeping a schedule - follow your own and your babies' intuition and go with the flow. Babies are not machines they are individuals with ever changing needs. In regards to sharing schedules, what works for one baby will most likely not work for another so be careful when looking at other parents' schedules. Also a HUGE congratulations 🎊 and how amazing to see you guys become Dads!

So happy someone said this! This is definitely a first time parent thing. Wait till they start cluster feeding and go from 3 hour intervals and into every hour. Then the 4 month, 9 month, 12 month sleep regressions. Wheeeeew.

I had such a strict schedule with my twins, literally down to the point that they pooped at the same time as each other. It's so fun seeing how other twin parents handle the newborn stage lol but with my third I really learned to let go and have a schedule that fit around his liking and the same for my fourth. Mommy advice.. When you get overwhelmed and exhausted, just remember that the baby stage is a very short period of time. It goes by so fast (even though it doesn't seem like it right now). They grow, change and learn so fast and before you know it, they will be walking around and starting to talk, so soak in these precious moments while you can. One baby is no joke, even for two people. Two babies is A LOT. I know you only showed a tiny fraction of one day but you guys are killing it. Just the bathroom set up alone proved that. Oh and Shane, yes we care. The schedule was interesting so thanks for sharing. I know you guys have your hands full but I hope to see another video soon. I can't get enough!

Gotta point out guys, female mummies are recovering from giving birth for months after the birth, so them talking about moving their bodies, you gotta understand that when carrying your baby in your body it’s a massive trip. Making a baby with your body, then birthing it takes its toll on your body. Takes quite some months for a lady to get her body back. You have painful engorged breasts re milk etc. And you bleed for weeks after the birth. It’s a lot.

Okay poking fun at women talking about joyful movement and needing to move around is messed up. Those women actually pushed out their babies and are dealing with real body changes. That was insensitive af. Not to mention postpartum depression is a very real and common thing… totally tone deaf.

Ryland is such a mom lol I love it. You guys are amazing parents! I was just re watching the video when you guys first moved into the Colorado house and the tornado came lol. And I was getting so emotional watching the previous owners pass the torch, knowing that you will raise those two beautiful boys in that house. .
