The reason this song is so good is because it portrays depression really well. It's very upbeat while the lyrics are kinda sad. And real depression is commonly like that. Most of the times an actually depressed individual will seem happy and good, but that's just an act (trust me I've been there). What I'm trying to say is if you are depressed then you wouldn't be open about it, you'll try to hide it. That's also a reminder to always talk to the people you care for, ask them how they've been doing lately, you never know how much you could help them.
@connorking9843 жыл бұрын

Needed this song so bad rn. Just had the two best days of my life and I wake up today in utterly depression and anxiety. I met a girl I really like but I can’t tell if I’m just another one of the boys she talks to or if she’s mostly concentrated on me. Love and depression don’t mix well together…hope I figure everything out soon Edit:Few of u guys going through the same thing. Long story short we stopped talking than she said she missed me a lil while after but I wasn’t interested cause I was focused on someone else that eventually cheated on me. I jus found someone new but she left me a few hours ago. Don worry too much bout these females guys jus live life and chase your dreams🤞🏼

This song captivated me as a middle schooler, years before I'd start living the lonely stoner life myself. Everything about it seemed to fit my mindset perfectly. Now over a decade later, after growing up, becoming a self destructive addict, and eventually healing myself and letting go of all that toxicity I'd built up for myself, I still hear this song and feel a deep and somber kind of nostalgia. Best of luck to all the brothers and sisters still stuck on that lonely path.

Funny thing is, I was watching this vid, then got randomly recommended the Moon Knight trailer by KZbin. Now I'm back here lol. If people haven't heard of Kid Cudi before the Moon Knight trailer then they do now.

Just for anyone wondering this song is about him staying up at night thinking about losing his uncle what he lost and what he’s gained the “ I think I’m first but surely” finished last I think is a reference to how he thinks he’s at his best point just for everything to go down in his life.The man on the moon is his good side the one where he has no problems in his dreams anything can happen.mr rager is his bad song and in one of the songs in motm2 he says “mr rager tell me we’re you’re going” it also is saying take me with as his fans want to be with him and be by him no matter what even through bad but the tell me where you’re going is saying tell me what’s ahead in his life if he needs help what’s wrong but he can’t because he still hasn’t figured out what’s happening.in motm 3 he figured he’s the one who saved the generations and he was chosen the void is about how he was confused and didn’t know what do but he realized all this was for a reason he was chosen to save the people

I remember listening to this song I thought it was either chill one of those cLuB type of songs or even both lmao because of the beat and the voice, I never really payed attention to the words now listening to it again it’s giving such mixed feelings like I have the nostalgic type of this is a chill song then I get a oh wow this is depressing asf type of feelin so now I’m just h e r e.
