Day & Night effect mandala art on canvas | canvas wall art DIY | Acrylic painting

Hello everyone!
This is an themed mandala art on canvas using acrylic paints and acrylic paint markers. I made this art on two modes(day and night effect). Hope you all like it!

The radius for each circle starting from the innermost circle are 1cm, 2cm, 2.5cm, 4cm, 5cm, 5.5cm, 7cm, 8cm, 9.5cm, 11cm.
Canvas - 9 * 12 inch.
All colours are from Liquitex basics acrylics.The colours used are primary yellow, cadmium orange hue, cadmium red light hue & primary red for day effect and deep violet, light blue permanent, primary blue, phthalocyanine blue and ivory black for night effect.
Markers used - Acrylic paint markers (black and white).

Thank you! You can find the circle radius measurement in the description and regarding the division lines, each line is 10 degrees apart.

Thank you! The brand is TOOLI-ART. I haven't varnished this canvas yet. But i don't think that the varnish will make the paint markers spread.

I will make the same. I have one question. can we use micron pigment pen instead of acrylic paint marker. Is that work?

If you have micron pigment pen in both black and white colours, you can use it. It'll work fine.

Could I ask you a question please. I noticed you are using a pencil on white canvas, does the pencil rub out easily and not leave a dirty background. I would like to have a go at something like this. I have been painting the background with decoart and using a white chalk pencil and using dotting tools, but I like the idea of drawing my pattern straight onto white canvas. I would be grateful for your reply. Thankyou.

Hi, in my case the pencil drawing did smudge a little when i painted over it. so i would suggest pencil drawing once after background painting. hope this helps you.

Hey can we rub the pencil lines after this? Because the grids will still appear on the board. It would be a huge help if you reply and can we varnish the canvas after using this pens? Please do reply

That looks flawless 👍. Just one question, is the pencil mark visible under the darker paint (black in this case)?

yes you can see the pencil drawing but not prominent like the other side. You can redraw on top of it for better visibility. Thank you!

A quick suggestion.. pl don’t place ur camera towards ur left or right .. it’s really difficult to see the design .. pl place it in the exact centre .. I’m actually trying this out ..
