Facts. Barbers are a different breed. We badass.... I'm a minority and been through some things: Jail, Rehab, more Jail, more Rehab, Sober living off-the-grid to being a Vegetarian, meditating, doing Yoga, just trying new things. listen i cut in a good area not a high flow of walk-ins but ive thugged it out and learned alot so my profolio is very diverse but i will say i cut in a very tourist based area so the retention rate is not the best i also feel as though the owner has really taken a back seat to his brand and shop yes i do promote do IG and tiktok vids do what i can including flyers but there comes a certain point were the owner is charging to much for the area and taking advantage of the employees he does have at the shop knowing he cant just hire anyone because our ratings are 5 star across the board the rent went from 175 to 300 to know starting feb 340 if u ask me paying a mortgage for a chair is cool if the clientile is there but ive been there 3 years and not booked out nor do i average 8 haircuts a day for the barbers that are always booked even they are not happy with the increase so imagine me as a barber who is still working towards that goal i also have to maintain my federal job i dont knw how much u think is to much or just right for a suburban barbershop ? p.s my barber team is great which is the reason we all stayed for the 300 increase
