That gold, decorative, crinkly plate that you picked up but didn't buy is what is called Carnival Glass. Worth picking up because some of those carnival glass plates can go for big money. That pocket watch you saw in the cabinet was a pocket watch protector for a miner. Miner's would put their watches in those cases to protect them from damage. They are definitely worth buying because they are quite sought after by mining memorabilia collectors.

I did pick up the carnival glass bowl and I couldn't see what price they had for that pocket watch? Knowing that certain chairty shop they probably looked up online and was asking a bit, but if it's still there I'll ask what price they got on it.

I’ve had 4 live aids, £2, 50p a £1 and then £10. First time i sold it £96, then £65, then £40. Kept the last one that cost me £10
