Yes, she goes in easy now. She just doesn't find it on her own.

Impressed over The cows doing! Never beeing in a robot to milk and they are so calm????, let it take time so they learn! After a while they go for Them self! How does it feel for your self? First time you dont have to feed The cows or milk The cows or scrape shit????

I think it feels good. We had some troubles with a lightning strike and it set us back with the training. The robot was working but not well and we didn't know why for a few days. Hopefully it goes better soon.

Awesome video .... The girls were hesitant going into the milking robot the first time, but once they got in they did not seem bothered by the robot cnnecting and milking. I know your alomost 17 dqys ahead of trhs video, I'm curious how they are now dong?...... What are youi seeing so far for their learning curve?...... they seem to enjoy the pellets during their milkings and the Juno & Collector do not seem to bother them much..... It is still very exciting watching your videos as we all are learnng how this transition is comng along....... Have you been able to look at your reporrts and see how the girls poduction is yet?.......... As Always THANK YOU so much for sharing your journeys with all of us,,,,,,,,,. This does appear to be the future of dairy farming....... God Bless All of You!

We are still fetching a lot of cows. We had a set back because of a lightning strike that made the robot arm unreliable. The cows adjusted really easily to everything but going to the robot on their own. Once there, they go in pretty good. A few have some trouble getting connected. We love the barn and everything is pretty well the way we want it. Once the cows catch on we might have time to enjoy it😊. Hard to believe right now. They say the first 3 months are tough.

@@HollcanaFarm I'm so sorry for all of the spelling errors..... LOL should not be typing without my glasses on ;) ........ Also sorry about the lightning strike too! ..... Will your Warranty or Insurance cover the repairs? ...... You hear horror stories about lightning hitting a herd, hopefully and it looks like your contractors did the proper protection with all of the new steel gates and such in the new barn. These videos really show us common folk LOL what its like on a working farm. I am amazed with each new release to see the progress already as this is so much different than the old barn setup, and you can already see certain tasks being done by the Juno, The Collector, and the Lely robot too. I'm confident that things already look to be going well, and pray the learning curve is a quick one for all of you. I know I say it often, but THANKS again for sharing with all of us, it makes me smile to see the progress with each new video...........

How are the cows doing today 😊

They have settled into the new barn really quickly. We are still fetching most of the herd to bring them to the robot. Between 12-15 for sure go on their own. We had some set backs because of a lightning storm doing damage to some circuits on a computer Panel. We have that fixed now so hopefully things get better now.

Merci pour cette vidéo. Comment sont lavés les trayons des vaches ?

Wondering why not do in groups to train, not the whole herd to start with. Hope all going smooth

We are not allowed to have two different milk pick up places. Some days are better than others. I think the cows are adjusting better than us😊

It seems like the step up throws them. Cows don’t have good depth perception. Also I guess Lely sticks with you tell you got it?
@HollcanaFarm7 сағат бұрын
@@david19659 The step has to be there for the manure collector robot. It has to have a wall to follow. We found the door of the robot wasn't opening wide enough and that was also part of the problem. Especially from the fetch pen side. We later got the door changed and it is so much better. Lely is amazing for their support! They came everyday for 4 days and then we have our tech person coming weekly for awhile after. Also a 24 hour hotline and our tech can usually be reached by text.

While this must have been an exhausting first day, we very much appreciate you making the effort to share it with us. Thanks.

Is this the procedure Lely recommended for training or how was that determined?
@HollcanaFarm7 сағат бұрын
Yes, they told us to split the herd in half and have a pen for milked cows to go into as well. This is how they always do things. We had to have 2 crews of 3 people and Lely came with 4 or 5 people the first morning 2 in the 2nd shift and the next 2 days and down to one from Lely on the 4th day.
