Some Cinema screens go down into the ground, some cinema screens go up like you describe all depends on architecture. The screens like Alfie went to are better for wheelchair access as there are wheelchair spaces at the back and those in wheelchairs aren't forced to sit at the very front and have a bad neck :)

Am I the only one who wasn't particularly impressed by Finding Dory? I did like it somewhat, but if I'm honest, it needed about 40 minutes editing, and it felt like a massive re-hash of Finding Nemo. It definitely wasn't better than the original. + you guys are very lucky the cinema was empty when you went to see it, I had loads of little kids in my cinema, many of whom were stanky af and needed a nappy change xD didn't really help the experience of the movie...
