I still have the freelancer MIS after all these years. You convinced me on it a while back, upgraded from my base freelancer. I got a ccu for the MSR but i dont want to make the transition because the msr is too big and far less capable for a solo player to function. Freelancers have always flown like a brick but they can facetank and shred. I think i might refund the msr ccu and put it towards a vanguard warden harbinger. My fleet at the time of 1.0 will probably consist entirely of gunships, with the last one being a redeemer.

Right now, the msr is worthless. They need to balance it, it’s a sitting duck vos random ennemies.

Ive had the freelancer for the longest time, this year I upped to corsair, I love it as it's more well rounded to do things on planet and with friends.

@@Tekitremble You know what man. I got the ccu for the MSR from the MIS the day the MSR came out and I was honestly disappointed when I found out that it was higher up the chain then the Corsair. I actually scrapped the ccu ticket yesterday to upgrade my aurora mr to a tana and bought an ascension armor kit. The MSR is in my opinion not a good ship to have if it's going to be the only one on deck. Too many doors for my liking. If I could have a tana, MIS, and hull B by the 1.0 launch I think I would be better of as a solo pilot with an MSR and some kind of heavy fighter like a vanguard warden which is what I think I've been leaning towards. If they had a salvage ship in the line up I'd get that and a prospector as my first in game purchases and just be a heavily armored crew member when the boys get together. I've decided for the time being to go all in on MISC.

Right now I own the drake corsair, vulture, and vanguard harbinger. Owning these supports every playstyle I can do solo. I would not consider anything larger without having more people to play with. The corsair is an amazing pirate ship as well, for when you get done with exploration.

Was hopin the new Mirai ship would come out, but I guess not. Kinda crumby ILW so far this year in regards to new ships, and CCU's. Least for me. EDIT: MSR is a dope ship. I do wish it had 2 more pilot guns so it has 4, but the only true downside to the ship is the doors.

Yeah I was hoping that "heavy fighter" would come out too. Pretty underwhelming so far and if the Firebird is the big thing this year ... Super disappointing..

@Arryos The cap ship doesn't matter to me at all. I will never buy one. I thought these ships were supposed to have their own teams for the most part. If there are no surprises it will still be a dud for me lol.

The only Reliant I would buy is the Sen ... but the gameplay is not here yet for it, so just leave it as a CCU for now. Starfarer - if you want the fuel ship, wait for IAE later in the year and get the basic version (basically paying $50 for paint and a missile launcher you shouldn't be using).

I wonder what the thought is, where you make a guide video about ships, intended for the audience to learn things, and you don't know basics about the ships you put a 'guide' out for. I know you took a long break, but if you don't know the subject matter you are publishing a video about, think about the value you are putting out there for 22 minute of your viewer's time.

Invictus experience so far is terrible, frame rates are a slide show and that's when it isn't glitching out and server crashes.

On Erkul the MIS is 3x S2 sheilds not S3s. Is that wrong? Is it actually S3's in game? If so that makes it much more viable.

For the Tana, it's the aesthetic and budget gateway to wallet, better than all the starters but doesn't go far beyond them.
