It's so cute when he investigates the hose. I mean, he is afraid. But very clearly he is also curious and those two impulses are fithing in his mind. For a wild mustang water must be something really attractive and important.

I go to IL to pick up my mare on my birthday October 13th I can’t wait to try her home and start working with her. I also just bought another but a gelding for my husband so we wait for him to come home and train him also. I just love scathing your videos even though I have been around them for 38 years. He is a mustang so I would name him Silver like the Lone Ranger’s sidekick. Julius is a stately name and it suits him. He looks like a horse that an emperor would ride. He has all of the looks and all of the disposition. You got an amazing horse!

My first horse was a tobiano ghost paint mare! She looked so different wet vs dry. I figured Julius was the same. I love his markings. :-)

I think he's got an appaloosa coloring, if not sabino. He's got some mottled skin around his rear and his mouth, and it looks like he has visible white sclera. It's so hard to tell, though. He is drop dead gorgeous, you really got a cute little guy.

He’s such a handsome baby! Looks like he’s pretty tall too and not too super wide (which can be difficult to find saddles to fit). How tall do you think he is? Over 14.2? I love seeing him stand square, he had a few moments when getting his bath- and you can get a good look at his conformation- maybe make a guess at his bloodline (perhaps some Walking horse?) do you plan to do genetic testing?

I didn't think he could possibly be a grey because he's already super light for a 2-year-old! I wonder if the sabino made him grey out faster. I used to ride a Trakehner gelding who was a grey tobiano and I had to explain the genetics to one of my classmates. She thought he had something wrong with his skin lol.

@@CamillesMustangs my heart horse was 14.2 hands, size don't mean a thing...unless you want a race horse, or a advanced class eventer.... Moon was an Arab, Welsh and Morgan cross, smooth as silk, and had a walking gait that left the big horses behind. I looked ridiculous on her, but other than 4H events and trail rideing, NEVER A used a saddle...favorite memories were the Christmas Eve gallops to " The Friend's " after riding up to the local cattle pastures. :) she was a true Black, after decades, I miss her so much.

Im supprized he didn't love it. Alor of the reward with mine was swimming in the river..lol horse crack river..they loved it and un broke id climb on ..they associated river with beung climed on.. Whew! Climed on an unbroke..she swam deepee ans came out on the shallow stood like hey? Youre not sand bags.. So? ? My friend pulled along side ..headed for home slowly..she just walked homem in a halter tied like reins..turned her backed up ..slowly ..she was iffy and confused. But got it headed back and crossed the river on the crossing.. Asked her to re cross..she didnt run for the other horse..walked nice and calm..we walked home..gave her some horse crack.( sweet molasses gran then some oats about 2 hand fulls..( i have small hands lol) brushed her while she ate her timothy / broom hay muxed ith alfalfa ( custom mix ) some lawn trimming treats ( mowed the lawn..2 clumps for everyone..two handfulls corn..i decided mm curios..haltered her up at late night for our nightly walk..in hand. Pick up feet..etc.. My friend gabe me a boost ..sat for a minute ..she had tail tuck.. Bunched up, ears going all over snorting , licking..so had my friend lead her a few feet. Let her process..then out of the blue..it clicked ..oh im fine..she stepped out.loooked? I patted clicked squeezed with thigh and ankel..hr ltr shes like shes been ridden for years..my friend had her friend an aging gelding ..he " taught " her.. 3rd day..she was too good to be true..rode. As good as a green horse bare back to the river and back. Omly one crow hop. When i nuged her too hard..she only kinda bucked when we tried to ride double but after we both stayed on she got it..ugly as sin but we used vegatable dye ..did her all black kept the wavy mane ..l..then she was BEAUTIFUL.. ( ugly brownis red) just like your boy..hes got a kind soul..will be special not typical..i bet first ride..hes gonna be a pro.id give him to Connor but make him finish the training or involve him..alot more. To horses than just riding..the mare? Sale barn..175..4 years no paperrs .10 months later..( we thought she was getting fat didnt look preggers..a beautiful filly.war bonnet with glass eyes..( ? Breeding stock ap? Never colored? Like paints..? But we found out sire was apaloosa too..im 53 .30 yeas ago.. We named her elltwow.. ( her number was L 2. ......her filly we named. Cleari ( clear eye? ?) But moral of story..i bet you could " sit" him now..and " farmer plow" him or have Conner lead him..( yeah too early) but lil guy epuld try bevause you put the trust in him
