Hey Andrew quick question, when you started day trading how much did you start with in terms of capital, and how did you scale it over the years as your account got bigger and bigger. Did your risk to reward ratio also change with your capital?
@miiiiikeee8 күн бұрын
Your position size grow as your account grows bigger and bigger. That's how you compound. Keep your risk to reward ratio the same, but your dollar amount will increase as your account gets bigger. Example: Account Size: $10,000 Max Dollar Risk of 2% per Day: $200 Risk/Reward (1:2) Ratio: Risk $200 to make $400 Account Size: $20,000 Max Dollar Risk of 2% per Day: $400 Risk/Reward (1:2) Ratio: Risk $400 to make $800

Thanks for this; it was really helpful. I’m relatively new to the market and still on the learning curve. What is the recommended EMA length setup for 1-minute and 5-minute charts? Also, for day traders, do you recommend using the 1-minute time frame?
@BearBullTradersКүн бұрын
For day trading I use: 9 Exponential Moving Average (9 EMA) 20 Exponential Moving Average (20 EMA) 50 Simple Moving Average (50 SMA) 200 Simple Moving Average (200 SMA) Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP) I explain this and more in my book "How to Day Trade for a Living” amzn.to/3siLtBL

Keep them coming Andrew! You are the best. Can you explain how to identify the price point for stop loss?
@BearBullTraders7 күн бұрын

Thanks Andrew! It was great making money with you on DAL this morning. What strategy do you consider the TSLA trade? Is it still opening range break down or double top?
@BearBullTraders7 күн бұрын
Yes it is! Even though it’s not exactly at the open still possible

Hi, i have $2000 and really want to start day trading, I've seen videos where people say they make $100 a day doing day trading and that kind of money could literally help make life a little bit easier so I'm wondering if anyone would be willing to teach me or if there's a group or something i can follow so I would do the same
@juliacooper48576 күн бұрын
The better question is how much would your life change if you lost the $2000? It is not realistic to plan to make anywhere near $100 a day as it causes you to invent trades that may not be there that day because you are trying to reach your goal.

How did telsa show up in his stocks in play if it gapped less than 1% in the pre market on january 10th. why is he even trading it
@BearBullTraders7 күн бұрын
It didn’t: we always look at TSLA and other usual suspects like NVDA
@printara_printers7 күн бұрын
@@BearBullTraders Do you only trade these usual suspects when no other stocks catch your eye? What else do you trade consistently besides just TSLA and NVDA, and how do you determine these usual suspects? This would be a great help to me
@BearBullTraders5 күн бұрын
@ usual suspects = volume and volatility, it could be AAPL AMD NVDA TSLA, etc...
