A friend called me in the evening to hang out 2 days ago. I told him I couldn't because I was working. Friend knows I trade and am not available from Monday morning till Friday evening because I try to lock in. He told me to quit. Meanwhile I was working on my funded account that was 4% in drawdown after a red week. I closed 3.15% on the trade I made that day. And the next day I closed 2.2% getting me back into the positive numbers. Never quit because other people tell you to quit guys. Keep going one trade at a time. They don't understand the work you put in.

There's so much information. Also so much going on in my life that I have spent the last 5 years trying to make it in trading but it has not worked. Because I have NEVER had a profit or a good day trading even on demo, the words you said in the beginning are always in my mind and it's challenging to pick myself back up and keep trying. But every once in a while I get a video like this and I try again. 5 years of no promise or improvement but I still refuse to believe that I can't make this work. In my country I have become unemployable. Graduated with good grades but that hasn't done me any good. I am constantly feeling like I am living a worthless life. But I still believe that I can add some worth to it.

The point is , if it is not going well , just leave it. Trading is a modern day drug which gives you hope to avoid all the miseries and struggles and achieve financial freedom but in reality , it will snatch away every good thing from you. This is why , Every new day we see a new course seller because Trading is not that simple. How can you imagine to succeed in a market where 99.99% of retailers are loosing. People don't accept this because by the time they realize that it is not going to work , they already have invested a significant amount of time and money therefore they cannot pull out , so they get stuck more deep and the dilemma continues.

I listened to the beginning of this and I was about to argue with you about day trading. I am a 20+ year trader and I have had your attitude as well. I never thought about giving up, have I been disgusted at times that I suffered a big loss because of lack of discipline, heck yes. It took me 15 years to become a consistently profitable trader and I still make mistakes. You only survive if you have the capital to survive, have a plan with an edge, use proper sizing, learn to lose, and have psychological fortitude to keep going. The sooner you realize this is a game of probabilities, the more you realize there is no right or wrong in trading, only how you respond to entering, managing, and exiting a trade. One of hundreds or thousands of trades, any of which means nothing to the sum of all trades.

You had me worried Arty, one of the few I still watch. Almost anyone can learn to trade, they just need to find the reason and commit. Personally I stopped looking for the holy grail, no more books and very few videos and I became a price action student of the S&P 500 exclusively, no indicators just levels and price action. If you watch long enough you’ll learn just how manipulated it is and learn how to take advantage of it for your own benefit. For me and I feel for so many of us, personal psychology and behaviours are our own worst enemy so the journey isn’t only about the market. Love your work Arty please keep posting great content

Your of the real trader I’m from France and bro your strategy on support and resistance in the best and I was a trader that was using trading bots and for they don’t really function the best way of trading is by using your own approach and strategy support and resistance is the best.i use the 15M and 30 timeframe to see confirmation and for support and I use a Daily timeframe I only trade on breakout and confirmation. I believe that I can day trade right from the start, lost a lot of money, but kept learning .... the psychology part is one which breaks you down, which is also the most crucial part of trading ...as an engineer i was used to the pass / fail criteria but in trading you have unlearn it and work on the probability part and risk / reward ratio so unlike engineering. @@AndyKang-s4r I had the same impression with closing orders but people said that's the case with put and call options where there is an expiration date and ppl aren't aware of this etc. Idk but sometimes it does feel like someone is messing with my orders, not only with options. I decided there are mostly rational explanations for these 'symptoms"' because the money is in a market not in a platform's wallet. Not sure if this makes sense lol but maybe it all depends on the platform whether it's integer or suspicious.

I am into trading 2 years now and I'm learning while doing, suddenly I undrstood going short, options etc so now I can earj when stocks / index is down. It makes me happy. I'm not rich, don't need to but I want to achieve let's say 1500 per month. My rent is 1580, I lost money from circumstances ( not from trading) and I will keep trading. Yes I had a set back so now I can only trade with small amounts but I still love it. I had a traumatic experience and enough challenges, I can't go back t9 old ways avymore I wilk do remote work plus trading.

Hi Arty, I disagree with the guy that made that comment. It pissed me off to be honest. I’m still just trading demo accounts. I’m not consistent yet, but I’m improving, some of it thanks to the PA Toolkit, and all of my successes in trading are because of you. I spend 6+ hrs everyday, including weekends on practicing, reviewing, and learning. I trade on my live account, AND i trade 10+ demo-accounts, to test various strategies, different risk profiles, and i review the result every week. I will win, that's what i keep telling myself. The market is like a brick wall, if you KEEP pondering on the same place, EVENTUALLY it will yield/crack, and that's why so few make it. They give up too easily; i know that it can seem hopeless, but that's why i use many different strategies, to make sure i always have an edge.

Trading is not a scam, its just like Amway. Lots of people got successful doing it, the issue is that they didnt make it clear the percentage of success. A very very low percentage of people makes money, and out of this does not last long. The 99% is just fueling the top 1%. In trading 99% is fueling the brokers, courses etc . If you can accept a 99% failure rate, then just do it. Plus no everyone is the same, you might be the most successful bass angler in the world but suck as a salesmen.
