Hi Jonny! I use TMA Forex Session , but only European Session in the Settings on the last 8 to 10 weeks, and plot a line in the middle of each 8.00 Hour Candle . It ist less work and the lines are very accurate, you will see. In combination with EMA 50, and Price Action, it works very well. If Price crosses above the line and the 50 EMA long and vice versa. I prefer to trade with an Algo , based on Indicators on Daily timeframe for Swingtrading but in case of daytrading this could be very helpful to filter out bad Signals. Have a nice Weekend. This is amazing. I have 3 questions however. Please help me to understand… 1) For crypto, is it using the London open? I see the box is blue, so I’m just confirming. I always wondered w that being a 24/7 global market. 2) Suppose price closes outside the channel at the start of the session so you open a position. Then during the day price goes back inside the channel, but doesn’t hit your stop loss on the other end of the channel. If the session ends with price inside the channel like that then, would you just keep the trade open? I guess you would have to by the rules of the strategy 3) Do you still avoid trading on Monday and Friday? Many traders caution others not to trade on these two days due to low liquidity and market makers.

Guys think on it. I see that the range has to be on open like 08.00 until 08.55...the candle who starts at 9 is sometimes very very important.. In my backtesting i had much less loose... Amazing for poeple who work beside and even with pending order works fine.. I set stoploss on half the channel and take profit 2 times... Works great

Ok, first off, I love this strategy and have implemented it into my own, thank you. Secondly, if you're using this on a 5 min chart, does the market trend matter for this? Say it's a breakout above opening channel, but overall market is in a downtrend. Generally I would say don't trade, trade with the trend, but if you're on a 5 min, does that trend really matter? The past couple of days backtesting this has seemed to produce great results, but also a LOT of missed scalp opportunities between structure if you're waiting for it to go with the trend. If you're in a MARKET down trend, and it breaks above the opening channel, you then have to wait all day to see if it will end up crashing back down and breaking out of the bottom of the channel.

Correct but I believe we should ignore his timezone and work out when 9:00am Frankfurt is on our own charts. Here's a handy way: Frankfurt is always 1 hour ahead of London. In London, on the last Sunday of March, clocks are moved forward 1 hour, from GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) to BST (British Summer Time). This forward move should mean that it would be the same time in London as it is in Frankfurt. However, Germany also moves clocks forward to DST (Daylight Saving Time) thus keeping Frankfurt 1 hour ahead of London. Therefore, all year round, when London opens at 9:00am (London time) it is 10:00 am i Frankfurt. When Frankfurt opens (at 9:00am Frankfurt time) it is 8:00am in London. Why not change your time zone in TradingView to 'Berlin' and and pretend you're i Germany. Place a vertical line at 9:00am (and mark it 'Frankfurt Open'). Then pretend you're in London, change the timezone to London and place another vertical line (and mark it 'London Open'). Now simply change back to your real timezone and look at the time scale along the bottom, it will show you what time, in your local time, both markets open. Make a note of it or print out what I've written here!

Great video ! However, when I looked up the times ( GMT Greenwich ) Frankfurt opens at 6am London 7am. The time chart say Frankfurt opens at 7am and London 8am. I'm confused. what set of data is correct. can someone verify this ?

I might get the videos wrong,but my understanding is: Fx Market session asists for frankfurt market opening time from 11 till 12 and in this video you mentioned 30min 1hr before london opens just find the consolidation area.From the old video you mentioned fade breakout and on this video just buy.Sorry for inconvenience with my question,hope I made it clear
