When i was a youngster just starting out trading in a hedge fund trying to stay on top of which side of the price to hit under pressure in each currency pair. One of my 1st lessons from a guy who even all those years ago was an old school dinosaur. He said "sanj no one gets poor taking a profit"

If you get stopped out on a 1st trade that usually confirms the structure and the trend of the day. So after that it is possible to really get your head into the subsequent activity and see all the multiple trading opportunities in any trading day. Therefore one of the keys to having consistently profitable even if small profitable days is : make sure the 1st loss isnt large and then it is much easier to risk more on the same day and possibly recover the 1st loss and even obtain a profit on the day. The other rule trade with the trend ofbthe day where possible amd stay out of the bull sht counter trend stuff.

Thank you Stacey as always. Gold yesterday in London did not trade up above the Asian session high. This would have allowed traders the opportunity to look for a short trade after penetration and engulfment of a high above the Asian range.......and to be looking for trades on the “outside”. A rejection of multiple pushes to (but not through) the Asian session high did of course work out very well for traders who then went short.

If asia has trended at a 45 degree angle for the whole session which rare then that mkt will carry on in europe and hardly look back all day. If asia has trended and ended with a narrow range for half the session then you just wait for a break ofbthe narrow range with a strong 15min bar in the same direction and again it will usually not come back to test the lownof asian range, where you can place your stop

Thank you for all your efforts to share your wealth of experience and knowledge with others! I discovered your channel a week ago and have been binge watching....in other words trying to drink from a fire hydrant!:) My forex education consists of two paid courses from which I learned a lot but neither approach looks at the market maker as being the mover of price. Probably the hardest thing for me to do is accept a reasonable loss instead of holding on for a larger, long term, nail-biting hope for a turnaround in my direction. From what I've learned so far, I feel as if I'm seeing a picture hidden inside another picture that appears and reappears ...but I am so excited! I really connect with your simple, direct style of teaching. Would you classify the GBP drop in NY session as a reversal or stop hunt? Also, if last Thurs. was "day 0" does that always mean the next days are 1,2,3 days?

Stacey has your cleaning crew move the camera stand AGAIN. Some of the white board bottom is not in view on the camera lens. Darn that night shift cleaning crew. Due you use a X with tape or other material to know the best location of ensuring camera stand placement. Just asking for us few than are leaning forward and still cannot see the lower bottom of the white board. The struggle is REALLY :-(

SB! I have an entry question. I remember you saying that an Engulfment at the H/L by itself isn’t enough to take the trade on its own, and that we want to wait until it comes back a second time or get a PH that comes right after. So my question is this... If the Engulfment comes after a 123 we can take that trade without it coming back for a 2nd time?
