It is a good video, and it appears you are working with currencies. It makes sense that the currencies are heavily manipulated, and this is a fairly clear view of how price action works. I imagine the futures indexes work the same. One of the key takeaways here is that you are aware of others' methodologies, but you took it upon yourself to ferret out these other nuances by watching price action.

Think of it as more of a mindset than a way of trading...If you understand what the MM are gettting other traders to do at certain areas of the chart, you will be more confident in your thesis for the day. Hope this helps!

Loving the deep dive into market traps and behavior. I am pretty good at nailing the pattern based entries, but I want to get skilled enough over time I could take time/trapped volume based entries. After falling prey to one of these traps yesterday, I can relate. This was an eye-opening video, and as there is so much to understand, I'm ceasing trading until I can l learn and understand more. I now see why 95% of retail traders apparently fail long-term. It seems like most of your complex analyses of candle patterns could be programmed into an algorithm. Making this available would turn the tables on the greedy institutional traders who rely on us amateurs failing.

I stopped looking. I just look for trapped traders or ITM long and shorts. Then I look for the next level. Then I put alerts and wait for the level. Once we hit the level I set a timer and walk away then come back every 15 watching for behaviors and patterns, then I enter as it breaks down and reverses. The less time at the screen the better!

Basically, learn to stop n reverse …. When we take a position, few minutes after, highly likely, market shifts but not our bias and that seems to be a too detrimental behaviour… this week I closed many trades in 5-15 pips loss range and I managed to survive with few profits as well… to me this is win. Let’s see how it goes next week

Why does everyone say in order for you to win somebody has to lose? That is not true. I could be buying from somebody who is taking profits and then selling to somebody else who’s gonna ride the rest of the move and all three of us just made money.
