That was a grand day out, a proper adventure. I like to get off the beaten track and experience something that is not just pure tourism once and while... but I do like to return to some basic creature comforts afterwards. Yes you can!most places with camp sites will rent tents bedding etc

The reason your GPS isn’t working is because you’re getting close to a war zone in Myanmar and GPS jamming is being employed there. I just had a look on the global gps interference map and it’s pretty heavy in that area. So map and compass would be a good shout if you’re going into those areas.
