Military leaderhip is not thesame as civvy. When young officers go into the military, they have NCOs as a buffer between them and the ORs. Some youngter out of that unie, going into a civvy career, trying to act like an officer, than a manager, will cause feck ups.

To everyone criticizing and screaming about how back in their day. Just chill. It’s ROTC not BCT. It looks like OCS but less intense, which makes sense because image 4 years(8 semesters) of an OCS or a BCT environment. Chill, they have a program that’s been continuous for 200 years, I think they know what they’re doing. At the end they will still have butter bars that need to be taught everything once they go into the big army, literally the same as West Point but without the west point ego, and we all know how fast west point egos deflate once they encounter Pvt snuffy who came from the hood and can’t be bothered to do his job because it was go to jail or go to war 😂

@somedudelmao4538 thats literally what most of us do. Video doesn't mention it but we have one of the best programs in the country (at least Army wise). Going to Norwich and doing ROTC is a better option than going to OCS, because OCS gets the bottom of the barrel when it comes to assignments, and Norwich is better suited to prepare cadets to go in both as officers and enlisted men and women of the US Military.

They seek challenge. They seek a unique college experience. They seek camaraderie. $62k a year to do ROTC that you can do a lot cheaper in a lot of state schools. And you get to have a worse time than those. I never understood the draw of these places; Norwich, Citadel, and the like Academy without the main benefits of coming out of an academy.

The alumni connections are HUGE. VMI and The Citadel in particular have alumni networks that allow you to succeed in business and industry after your military service. I did ROTC at Arizona. I got the same commission as a Norwich grad, but after leaving AD I couldn't pick up the phone and land an interview just because of my school.

I truly don't understand the point of these schools. You are paying ridiculous amounts of money to get yelled at by civilians who are just further into their schooling. OR you can pay with loans and work civilian after. All come with benefits, Norwich has a strong alumni bond and general character building benefits. A lot of people going through have federal (fbi, nsa, etc) scholarships. Giving them direct LE employment immediately after. As LE myself this school has helped me immensely, making money and bettering myself. The friends along the way were an added benefit. Now I’ll get off my podium and allow you cucks to rage on in the comments 😂

Looks pretty chill, it’s ROTC not BCT. It looks like OCS but less intense, which makes sense because image 4 years(8 semesters) of an OCS or a BCT environment. Chill, they have a program that’s been continuous for 200 years, I think they know what they’re doing. At the end they will still have butter bars that need to be taught everything once they go into the big army

I don't really blame people who panic. Lack of information can be a big hurdle. I've been making more than $100k passively by just investing through an advisor, and I don't have to do much work. Inflation or no inflation, my finances remain secure. So I really don't blame people who panic.

Yeah that’s why we’ve had multiple 3-4 star generals, been ranked #1 army rotc in the country multiple times, and are nationally recognized for having one of the best cyber and criminal justice programs. Sounds like you’re not even in the military because anyone that I’ve ever talked to in the military has mentioned knowing someone from Norwich and only having good things to say about them. Typically the answer is “they’re humble and not cocky like West Point grads”. Good try tho Nicholas.
