Day26 has had their fair share of ups and downs in the music industry. Originally signed to Bad Boy Records, the group found themselves under Atlantic Records after a corporate shift. Despite having successful previous albums, their tenure at Atlantic was fraught with challenges. The group revealed that they were not a priority for Atlantic. Although they produced an entire third album, this body of work was ultimately shelved.
Producer heavyweights like B Cox and Troy Taylor believed in the group and fought for them, which led Atlantic to invest significantly in studio time in Atlanta. However, the music industry machine did not work in their favor; some tracks leaked, but a full release never materialized. Now, Day26 embraces their independence, valuing the creative freedom it offers them. They remain committed to producing work that resonates with their fans and continue to adapt in a rapidly changing industry landscape.

In the 585 ...we rooting for que ❤️🫂. We want him to be healthy, happy, safe and great, living his dream, providing for his mother and siblings. That man grew up across town from me on the east side... scio street, it's RAW and HARDBODY over there. You had to know how to fight if you could sing or was a bookworm. The only thing good about that area was the performing arts school he went to. To see how he came back home after making the band was sad fr. Que getting on making the band was like seeing ya bro get his deal at def jam or roc a fella. Everybody wanted to be signed to them during our highschool days ...or signed to the Yankee's.... the bulls or lakers. That's how we felt when que won his spot on the day26 team. We all knew about the so called "bad boy curse" but we was still happy for him, he got signed. Seeing what he went thru on the show...was crazy but he earned his right as a member. Whatever happened to him after day26 making the band seasons, he didn't deserve that, nobody do but AS A Man it's harder to cope with certain things. Whatever, whatever.... He did it for his family. The industry clearly changed him cuz who he is now...is not who he was before he did the show and got signed. Praying for que sincerely cuz he from the home soil 🙏🏾🫡👑. They need their money, they're all super talented... that can't be stopped no matter what they do to hinder it. Que needed his deal the most outta all of them. That's why he went thru the most and went with dirty money crew... I'm between day26 albums. He couldn't quit and leave and he couldn't come home..not without a record deal. His back was against the wall in more ways than a contractual agreement. The 585 is the hardest place to come from besides a official new York City borough. Que is stronger than ppl give him credit for.

We have to give people grace. The assumptions about Mike are distasteful. These are celebrities but they are also humans just like you and I. Everyone isn’t not extroverted, everyone has off days , everyone has other things going on. He could be sick or naturally a quiet person.
