The Fendt could be vinyl wrapped in black with a carbon fibre finish to make it unique. Then when you come to resell, remove the vinyl which will have protected the paintwork making it look as good as the day you bought it.

Paintwork on the 936 looks very tidy so why strip it off to respray? I'd say wrapping is a better option. Does it need to be black? If wrapping, why not go for something even more unique/bespoke? 95% tonight as I'm back home 😁

Feeling 85% Leave the Fendt 936 as it is Olly it looks in mint condition plus it will match better alongside the other Fendt than if it was black, Also we'd know really it's a green one in disguise.

I found with the Massey if you take the handbrake of and then select the direction of travel that works. Also the Massey we had a sweet spot so if you pressed the clutch in too much it didn’t register😂

To move the Massey you need to clutch to start take the clutch out then clutch again selecting forwards Hope that helps you Grand vid as always Ben

Memories of flat corn. Worst I ever cut was oats as flat as flat same as the barley with lots of green. Difference was I had to change gear backwards forwards every time pressing the clutch took 4 days to cut 15 acres tried always. Nightmare, that’s the worst field I ever cut, the new headers and hydrostatic gear boxes make life so much easier. Black the fendt out windows including

Olly, most of not all Masseys since the 6100 series need the clutch cycling before moving off. So put your foot on the clutch to start it. Then let the clutch off completely, then you can clutch again and put it into drive on the left hand reverser, then off you go.

You'll have to show us round the 936 when you get time. I've no idea the cost difference of paint vs wrap but wrapping would allow it to go back to original colour in the future without much cost. I'd have dragged that car out the way although it looks like you didn't have to wait to long.

The 936 certainly looks a good tractor and the engine sounds really sweet, it might well have some hours on it, but if it’s been as well maintained as it looks should be a fantastic back up machine for you!! I personally wouldn’t wrap it and has it got to be black? Those big bales looked solid and heavy. Great blog Olly. Still 97% even though I had to have a new battery on my Land Rover today!

Use a leaf blower to put out the fire, they work a treat, i watched a fireman use one on a moor fire, i would say wrap it black so you can put it back to green when it comes to selling it

That 936 looks tidy will save you hiring in Adam's 6250r! Be interested to see if the crop you direct drill into burnt stubble is any different. Balerman will be loving you when he goes to that field where barley flat!

Wrap will be easier and cheaper for the 936, the problem with painting is it is a lot of prepwork that eats time if you want to do the job right, where as a wrap just requires the surfaces to be clean.

If it’s at the right price then that Fendt looks great as it is nice and shiny with no obvious knocks and the paintwork looks really good but if you were to wrap it maybe ask whoever is going to do it to show you a picture of what it would like when it’s been done. If you wrap it it can always be removed at a later date. Of the engine and gearbox have been dealer refurbished and you’ve got the invoices then it’s probably under some warranty.

Paint the 936 black. If you wrap it the wrap may get damaged by hedge rows overhanging trees ect and very soon look tatty. Anothe great video ,thanks.

In the late 70’s operated a VC10 out of Speke, as we lined up we saw 3 kids sat on the ILS aerials behind the runway threshold. The air traffic controller in the tower said ignore them so they got 4 Conway engines at full thrust up their shirt, often wonder how long they stayed on the aerials. Fendt look great as it is but wrap it if you have to.

Been using a 939 on chasser bin lovely bit of kit, had old 820 and 724 carting spuds last year, this harvest had a come down driving a new holland t7245 give me a fendt any day. Weather is being a pain , as for kids and fire 😡

Don’t paint it wrap it!! Then you can always remove it if you don’t like it or want to sell it later! Paint is very expensive now as well maybe it’s cheaper to wrap it ? But it looks good in its green anyway a colour I’ve always liked although I can’t tell if it’s the new or old version of green !!

I seen a fendt in Germany wrapped in blue . It was nearly like redbull blue 💙 with white roof and wheels . Pulling tri axle dump trailer . Black chassis with blue bathtub body with white stripe moving beet from harvester . Glass was black . Few extra lights and 2 michelin men . It was cool tractor . About 3 years ago , tractor could been 826 fendt.

Used happen me in a 2008 7495 dyna VT when I used put It in forward or reverse before dropping the hand break .. Once hand break was down then select F or R it was fine

I think tractors look better in manufacturers colours rather than the black edition craze, that Fendt is very tidy in green. Wrap it if you must, then it's reversible! A challenging day for you - they just happen. A better day is waiting around the corner - I admire your ability to keep your cool and press on with a smile on your face (at least that's the bits you video 😉)

If your past is anything to go by, you’ll wrap it black, decide it’s not perfect, then paint it black (Rolling Stones style), then decide to also turn it into project 936 anyway because it’s something to keep you occupied and you love improving things.

Hi Olly, think you showed your cards too early with the 936. Now we all know its green, regardless of if you make it black, we will always know it was green!! We once had a gateway blocked by a car ( not very far from where you were today) .so we got a chain and dragged it into the field then blocked it in with a trailer... cost him £40 to get it out (back in 88 ).. Chippy dinner all round for the lads 😁

our massey was like that. ours had rear wheel sensor on ot and when the cap comes of they get dirty. then cuase it not to go into gear properly.

if its anything like the 2010 6475 i drive when you first start it you need to press the clutch, then release it and let the display dash run through its cycle. only then can you press the clutch again and select forward or reverse.
