Getting Weetabix out of the packet without getting crumbs all over the kitchen worktop. 1) Do it on a piece of newspaper, then you can lift the newspaper and tip the crumbs into your bowl. 2) If you're not bothered about the Weetabix being hole, open the sleeve carefully by unsticking the top and not ripping, then stab/break each Weetabix in half with a fork and tip into your bowl. Cut the sleeve down with scissors as you work your way down the sleeve. Hope this helps, love the vids, Richard Huelin in Jersey 👍

Gordon Bennett Olly, that kit would hardly fit in Devon methinks, the grandsons and son are going to love this one. Thanks Olly, take care, 80% today, sick of the lack of education that the media shows when talking about farming. Harry's Farm covered it well on his vid today.

I bought the first production Unidrill from Sam Moore immediately after it was demoed in Co. Carlow when ICI was promoting Gramozone in Ireland in 1975. I used it to stitch in grass seed into pastureland after it had been sprayed off with Gram-ozone and to sow turnips into stubbles

@@richardmatthews3304 We got on fine, but I did not have a lot f contact with hime once the drill arrived. There were a couple of issues at the start but we soon ironed these out and after that I only needed to contact him for wear parts. We sold the drill after a few seasons so I don't know how well it lasted. It was interesting to see how few changes there have been with the disc and seed shoot mechanism. Can't help with any information on Sam's other work places.
@richardmatthews3304
@richardmatthews3304 2 жыл бұрын
@@davidtyrrell566 talked to Sam Moore jnr few times on the phone, very helpful, drill works well think it's just a learning curve of getting best results, think there's more to direct drilling than the drill,
@davidtyrrell566
@davidtyrrell566 2 жыл бұрын
@@richardmatthews3304 Definitely a learning curve. The original metering system was a bit basic so getting the right sowing density was a bit hit and miss. Setting up the discs and coulters to avoid blocking and trash build up was a chore until I got the hang of it, but then I was using it with the very narrow spacings for stitching in grass seed and I used the same for the turnips into stubble. Stubble length was important too. Once I understood that then I could tell the client to cut the crop as low as possible. There was no dealer network back then so it was very much a case of trial and error - too much of the latter initially which cost me a lot of money as I had to buy extra seed to make up for too high a density in some instances. I'm sure that the dealer network is very supportive today, which ought to avoid those issues.

Hi Olly. Try this.🧐... You could put an old sock over the bottom half of your phone, for when you're out and about filming your vids eh Olly. It would cut the wind noise down enough for us to hear you properly, without covering the camera. Just as long as it's over the phones microphone, which is nearly always at the bottom of the handset. Try it next time you're out, and see(or rather, hear) the difference it makes. A cheap solution. Could make a use for the other one of the pair that Chester didn't destroy.!🤣! 85% LOVE THE VIDS.🥰🥰... KEEP'EM COMING.🤞🥰... RICH(UK).🥰🥰🥰.!.!.!
