Young K is the fox, Wonpil is the bunny, Dowoon is the dog, Sungjin is the little bear and Jae is the little chicken, and Dowoon as the leader of the sub-unit holds onto them. Also, the compass represents mydays (it looks like the official lightbands). Young K plays only the bass, because, as I understood they didn't want to "replace" Sungjin and Jae. Also, yeah, the vocals and harmonies are ON POINT, and the song as a whole was very emotional for me too.

Young K used an effects pedal to make the bass sound more like a guitar in some parts where he was carrying the melody (that intro doo-doo-doo-doo-doo is actually the bass)

That's right friend, we all cried to this song the first time. Jae and Sungjin's absence is so big, it still hurts a lot even though Jae streams on Twich and Sungjin on Vlive, it still hurts so much because we haven't seen the 5 of them together. It still hurts a lot and it hurts a lot more to know that probably this year Sungjin and maybe Young K are going to military service, it hurts horrible.

Every myday cries for this song. Zombie, following by this song is such a ride for us. We all wish for Bob and Jae to be well. Btw, the leaf sign in the compass is Day6/myday logo. So YoungK is holding on to it when the ship explodes. Oh yeah, we cried even more.

I also cried when I first saw this mv and heard the song especially the lyrics. Youngk also cried when they first performed this live. Oh and the compass with the leaf represents Mydays (it's the Myday logo). The denimalz founding their way through the compass basically tells us that they found their way through us, Mydays.

When I first watched this, that's what I theorized. Bob and J went to look for the Arcane Land (they'll sing about it in the B-Side) and got lost. So the 3 of them are now looking for them. They also kinda confirmed this on a storybook they released along with this album. It's about their adventures on that island I think. At the end, the 3 were out exploring and a sillhouette of Bob&J's Denimals found EOD's ship as a cliffhanger. It's so cool and cute. Also yes this feels like an allegory to J and Bob's situation and them not being together promoting as OT5. Also, J is super proud of this song and "the boys". This is his fave Day6 song to date. Sungjin is also super thankful that the "kids" are holding the fort for them. We terribly miss them but I'm glad J and Sungjin are a bit more active now and they're always so transparent about their circumstances.

This video made me very emotional too. My 7 year old daughter was very obsessed with it and watched it over and over again for months. She's also a fan and is in the know about the situation. We cried together, she found a lot of comfort from the way this video played out. Others have already told you about the characters, called Denimalz and that YoungK plays the bass. The promotion stages for this song were so beautiful too.

I've done my fair share of crying to this song but today your reaction made me sob again. Thank you for letting us see the effect this song had. Young K only played the bass, and they have said the whole album is very synth pop because they had to fill the space with the instruments they had. If you look at the live performances of this song, Young K plays his bass pretty similarly to a guitar, he plays mostly the lower strings and frets plus some of the effects make it sound more guitar-like. There are a few theories about the storyline, and the whole album tells the story of the Denimalz's journey, but yeah, we like to think they are searching for the others. And, according to the people who illustrated the m/v, Don (Dowoon) kept the Jje (Jae) and Bang (Sungjin) plushies in his backpack. Also, at the beginning and end of the m/v are two shooting stars that are supposed to represent Jae and Sungjin. This is such a bittersweet song. It's so beautiful and comforting, and EOD made it so My Days wouldn't have to miss Day6 as much, and we will wait patiently for Jae and Sungjin to be healthy, but we're all still really looking forward to ot5.

There's a fun throwback here that it's YK fixing the ship, and in the Hi Hello MV, he is also the one who fixed their pick-up truck. 😆 Btw, Young K's compass has the MyDay leaf logo on it. 😭 Young K uses bass in the EoD songs, and he's talked about how they had to be inventive in how they use the bass.
