For those people who don’t understand why we (MyDay) cried while watch this mv is bcz this animation/cartoon was the icon of each member. Dowoon = dog YoungK= fox Wonpil= rabit Jae= chicken Sungjin= bear this is the mv debut of the maknae line (dw, wp, yk). in this mv it seems that even though they are adventurous by 3 member, but they don't forget (even protect) Jae and Sungjin when something happens. and you can see MyDay (logo) as a compass as a direction in their journey. This is not only a cartoon, but also meaningful message for us. We can fight this sea as long as we’re together. Love you guys!

So perfect. Young K the Engineer making sure everything is running smoothly, working so hard to come up with ways to fix the ship and "stretching himself thin" to grab onto MyDay/the compass. In real life he's pumping out lyrics, engineering content for MyDay even if it's a small chat in the car, and being a great Idol Radio DJ. He works so hard. Wonpil the helmsman, pressing the buttons on the navigational systems like how he plays the keyboard. Super optimistic that things will work out--the perfect person to steer you in a positive direction. He's also very caring as he's always there to comfort Young K when he works into the late hours of the night. Dowoon the super supportive ensign that helps to hold the group together--as Jae put it--the mascot of the group, always trying to help out his hyungs (seen in how he holds onto Jje/Jae and Bang/Sungjin and doesn't even let go during re-entry). If you look on the desk where Ke is scribbling physics equations(gluon symbol), you'll see 2 cups that are Easter eggs from the Demon era. I think of them as keepsakes in that they survived it and it won't be forgotten because it is a part of who they are now. There was a post-it note of a ringed planet right behind the framed picture of OT5 hands together that was most likely their destination. So in the end I think they made it. But was it to home or was it for a rescue mission? Finally them using the compass which symbolizes MyDay to find and guide them to where they want to go. This song is a warm embrace.

I just realized how wholesome this song is cause in Korean, the title is closer to "when the wave ends" and if you think about it see or wave would never stop/end/sleep in the ocean. When they sing "I want to be with you to the place where the sea sleeps" which in Korean they sing "I want to go/wander/travel with you to the place where wave ends," it means that they want to be with us forever cause you'll never find a place where the see sleeps. Just thought I'd put this out there + also this is just purely based on my interpretation so it's not official or anything but i think it makes sense?? lol and there are def other and more obvious ways you can think about this song:)

@@shreyarath5208 so they are planned to have a comeback with The Book of Us: Demon with Zombie as a title track but (i forgot) i think h-1 of the comeback day JYPE announced that day6 wont have a promotion for this album due to members' unwell condition (JYPE didnt inform us who are the members that have unwell condition) but mydays somehow found out that sungjin and jae are not in a great condition to do the promotion. then youngk, wonpil, dowoon showed up in vlive to do some talking and music video reaction. 3 of them keep showing up in NOW. radio (?), day6 official youtube, mcountdown special stage, etc. about jae's case with jype (i'm not sure i have enough and valid information to explain about it so i will skip it). months later, jype announced that day6 will debut an unit consists of youngk, wonpil, and dowoon. my days have gone through a lot of ups and downs during this period. we all miss sungjin and jae so much. we all hope and faithfully wait for sungjin and jae to come back only when they're ready and healthy enough. i think thats the summary for what happened to them. feel free to correct and/or add more info

I'm not sure if you already knew, but each characters are Day6 members plushies. And it was Dowoon(the dog) that hugged the two smaller plushies which are Jae(the chicken) and Sungjin(the bear), which both of them are resting right now. Basically the whole mv/song is kinda symbolic to not leaving anyone behind, and going through hardships together. And Mydays(symbolized by the compass) guide the way for them :')
