music shows don't allow bands to actually play their instruments live because since they are running on time, it takes too long to set up and pack away. that's why they "hand-sync" and other bands like cnblue, ftisland and even wonder girls got flack for it when they first became an actual band. though day6 have monthly concerts for their everyday6 project and are permanent guests on radio shows to play their instruments and sing. anyways the members are wonpil on the keyboard who sings first, jae as you know, young k on bass sings the first half of the chorus, leader sungjin on guitar singing the second half of the chorus and finally maknae dowoon the drummer.

That's the problem, they can't play their instruments live on music shows because they don't have the resources for it, and the most important resource that they're lacking is time. Artists have to go up there, perform their song, and immediately get off so the next group can go on. Instruments take a long time to set up. That's why there's always an argument over whether they should go on music shows. On one hand, they can't actually play live so it feels fake, on the other hand, there's a chance they can get more recognition.

No they don't since setting them up takes a lot of time so they use a backtrack but in their concerts/radio they do play the instruments.. you can even hear the bass in their concerts :D
