To make up for Inktober, I finally decided to cram it all up into a video! ✍️ 😅Honestly, I wasn’t really planning on making another MV this month since I was too preoccupied with a lot of things and I had to sacrifice a lot of time for a bunch of other work ..//BUT HERE I AM 🌚🌚
Anyway, I wanted to express a lot with this video in relation to spending time with our family and loved ones. I’m sure most of us rely a lot on social media since we get updates, connect with our family who are away, send memes and a lot more ✨ .However, I thought about how it’s all so different whenever we get to spend time outside our digital life- and I must say, I did miss out on a lot of things.
“I Would” made me rethink about making the most of the time that we have now, our present. We only get to live and make the most of every second that we have now, and who knows when our time comes?

The last part brought me to tears. This song is very personal to me, the reason why it is and will always be my no. 1 Day6 song is because this is my song for my mother. I met Day6 months after cancer took my mother away and this song pretty much sums up everything I was feeling back then. Like I wish I could say sorry for the smallest thing I did that hurt her. Like I would give everything just to hear her say there was nothing to forgive you know. Lastly, I want to thank her for simply being my mother. Everytime this song would play, I have this silent prayer that somehow, somewhere, by any work of miracle she gets to hear the song and when she does, she knows that this is my song for her.

I lost my grandfather a week ago because of cancer. Yesterday was the funerals. I always lived miles away from him and I only came to see him once or twice a year, and every Christmas. He was playing Santa Claus when I was kid, and always putting magic in my eyes. I knew he was weak these days, but I pretended not to see his pain. I didn’t want to believe it. Now I feel so guilty for not being able to see him more often before, and for not been there during his last moments. I still told him that I loved him, I hope he heard me from where he is.Thank you for illustrating this beautiful song, you do a great job.🌹

Hi Elisa. Condolences to you and your family. I was at the same situation more than a year ago and it was my mother whom cancer took from us. Take all the time to mourn, but forgive yourself too. Healing will come, you dont need to force yourself to be okay. This song helped me get through the pain like I could not listen to this song without crying for ten months! But I survived somehow. And it actually is nice that you still talk to him and tell him you love him. A friend told me that I had to unload all those pain and regrets by telling my mother everything, even if I just whisper it to the wind. Until now, everytime this song plays, I still have that silent prayer that somehow, somewhere, by any work of miracle, my mom gets to hear this song and when she does, she knows that this is my song for her. A virtual hug to any MyDay and anyone who needs a hug today!

I'm not one to cry watching sad videos unless they really hit me and this just....i'm honestly in tears typing this. This song and the illustrations it just breaks my heart even more :( i don't think i'll ever be able to listen to it without visualising this I know that this video showed the mom but i can't help but to think of my late father :( it's only been almost two years since he passed and it still hits me hard. My birthdays never feel the same and I don't even feel like i should be excited even if i do feel that way a little. He passed 4 days after my birthday and July has always been a tough month for me but with him leaving just makes it more difficult. I know that i've mentally prepared myself ever since we found out he was diagnosed with cancer back in 2015 but it still hurts and i cry everytime i'm reminded of the milestones that he'll miss. I sometimes catch myself being jealous of my siblings bcs he was there to see everything and he didn't even get to see me graduate Uni :/ but God loves him more so yea. Sorry i didn't mean to pour my life story on here but Day6 has been one of the things lift up my mood eventho they can make me cry when i need to as well.

ive always dedicated i would to my father. he died 2 yrs ago bc of cancer and it still pains me. a lot. i havent told anyone abt this. i am blaming myself for not being able to show how much i love him and during his final days, i was given the chance to take good care of him but i took it for granted and blamed him for what has happened to him and to our family. it was too late when i realized that i was wrong and a lot of time has passed us by. i wish i couldve done better. i wish i couldve told him i appreciate him. i still cry everytime that sinking feeling starts. everyone seemed to have moved on but im still stuck. ahhh it feels so good to cry. i can really relate to the guy in this video. thank you so much for portraying the feelings so well. i really miss my father 💔

This video made my cry so much. This june I lost my grandma. She died from cancer. When I was in kindergarten she was the one who took care of me. But after that we didn't spend much time together because I was always moving and living really far. So when we met last time we would go to somewhere and I would wear headphones, when we go to her place I would be in my phone. I regret that I didn't talk to her enough. That I didn't say how much I'm thankful for everything she did for me, that I love her. I'm so sorry...

They are divided into morning and evening mydays 😂 the other broke mydays are referred to as “illegal mydays” it’s just a joke though nobody is actually illegal. If you ever go on twitter and can’t open a link and in the comments you see, “who else is an illegal myday?” That’s just means mydays who didn’t pay for the official fan club, for example, me 😅
