Maybe you know this already, but if you don't Day6 debuted with 6 members in 2015 (2 guitarrists, one drummer, 2 keyboardist, and one bassist), but in 2016 one of them (the tall guy who was playing the keys on Congratulations) left the band. Rumours said it was because he was dating a fan, so MyDay's speculate that Letting Go was wrote for him, cuz the rest of the band missed him but they understand it was his choice and only wished him happiness. That's why in the MV you can see a lonely keyboard ^^

in the beginning, day6 was a band of 6 people, but in 2016, one member was forced to leave the company and the band due to "dating rumours". their second title track, letting go, was dedicated to the member who left and that they all had to let go. just a bit fact about that song because i feel like its an important thing to add.
