@yumelo they're still together! they went on hiatus for a while and then afterward they all did their military service. the last member to complete his military service was wonpil last year (2023), and they made a comeback earlier this year! the album is titled fourever and the title track is welcome to the show. they're doing really well in Korea right now and they're everywhere. they've been in variety shows and youtube shows and they've been also performing at festivals nonstop. do check out their recent stuff if you're interested! their killing voice is what made me actually get into them, so I recommend that!

I couldn’t agree more.Words hurt.I was told some hurtful things by my teacher when I was 10 years old (only a child) and it still pains me to this day.She would always look at me in the nastiest look ever and be like “why are you laughing” “Stop laughing” “You’re always laughing” in front of the whole class countless of times and so I stopped thinking okay maybe I was laughing too much and it was my fault (even tho everyone else was laughing).One day I excused myself to go to the bathroom and when I came back the whole class stared at me and was silent.I went home like nothing happened and then one of my friends called me back then and told me that she said some really nasty stuff about you, your smile and personality and such (I don’t really wanna say what she said specifically bec it hurts tbh).I remember laughing it off with my friend on the phone and was like “omg really she’s rude wow” and ended the conversation with her.I was completely emotionless about it.I went to my parents and told my mum about it and she wrote her a letter and told me to give it to her the next day.So I did and I gave it to her and after she read it she turned into this completely different person and was like “omg honey maria I so didn’t mean that you know how much I love you” giving me the fakest laugh ever and so I laughed it off but I remember being utterly disgusted that people could fake so much just to save their ass.As I said before I gave no reaction whatsoever to the things she said about me till I realized that from that day till now I’ve never once laughed in front of somebody like normal people do, either I’d hide it away or I’d just not respond because every time I laughed I thought I was ugly.I can’t even laugh comfortably in my room without thinking I’m ugly.Most people are used to laughing cause it’s obv a normal thing but when I laugh I feel like I’m not used to this as in I’m not comfortable cause I rarely did it.This obviously lead to a lot of people misunderstanding me.I developed social anxiety and I became very very insecure about everything about me.I became really sad almost depressed for a lot of years and no one ever knew cause I’m the type of person who can’t really express her emotions or talk about her problems to other people so I’d always cry alone about it in my room.I didn’t even realize that I was doing all that bec of what that teacher told me back then until I realized how much of a deep scar it left on me and how much those words affected me.I saw a video a few weeks back where Jungkook of bts was asked about the meaning of happiness to him it was in their festa vid(I’m sorry for mentioning bts on a day6 vid) he then answered: “Happiness is being able to smile” when I heard those words my eyes got teary all of a sudden and I kept crying for an hour or so because I realized that I wasn’t even able to do one of the most normal and simplest things that almost everybody does which is “smiling” because of a few things I heard back then.I realized I never truly loved myself since back then and I kept crying for a while.I didn’t know a few hurtful words that teacher said would affect my whole life like that.I used to be such a confident child back then but it was all shattered.It just pains me because I keep thinking that she might’ve hurt another child with her words like she did to me.I really don’t want anyone to be told what I was told or to go through what I’ve gone through.To be saying such hurtful things to children is just cruel.If it was me rn I would’ve been able to take it just fine but as a child it really hurt.I’m trying to get over it now slowly.I don’t even know why I wrote all this but I just wanted to let it out for once.People don’t really realize these things until they experience it themselves.This goes to everyone please think before you speak.Words really do hurt and could have such a huge impact on people.People, please love yourselves.You’re beautiful no matter what anybody else says.I gave up on a lot of things because of this for too many years and I didn’t do what most people did and I honestly regret it.I wish my future self could go and hug my past self and tell her that it’s not true, don’t listen to her and you’re beautiful just the way you are.Please y’all love yourselves and think before you speak xxI’m so sorry ik this is super long, ik nobody will read this but I just wanted to put this out there.

For everyone who complains about Dowoon not having lines/are new to Day6: Dowoon's a drummer, and they're not a group. They're a band, which means not everyone in a band sings or raps. Which also means the drummer doesn't do much but just..use the drums. He's also not confident in his voice since it is rather deep. But since Dowoon is taking vocal lessons, he'll probably have lines in the future.
