Fun fact on leader Sungjin (the one with the raspy voice) - he originally has a clear ballad like voice. Bt bcos JYP decided to put them tgthr as a band (cos they’re generally ’no so good’ dancers, except fr the bassist YK), SJ was trained to sing with raspy rock style PLUS he literally took up rhythm guitar 3 MONTHS before their first public performance 💕

Guys, if you wanna see DAY6's live performance (which I can promise you'll never regret attending their lives cuz they're soooo great!!), you're gonna have to wait for 2024. Cuz 3/5 of the band members are now in the military, 1 is about to be discharged on Sept 7, 2022 (Sungjin, the one with raspy voice), and the last one, although he has moved to LA and left the company, but idk what the future may hold but from my experiences in their concerts as five members, they're legendary!!

Wait til you hear Sungjin with the raspy voice belt out emotively in some of their songs. His voice makes you feel things viscerally. Like in their song Letting Go.

Summer is the time to go for festivals! I went to Korea this past summer and timed our trip to go to water bomb seoul, a seventeen concert, and the Seoul park music festival. There was so many more but couldn’t get tickets/fit them into our trip. It was amazing but HOT. Water bomb was probably the best since it’s literally a giant water festival so you don’t feel it as much. But let me tell you they were amazing experiences and such different vibes but all very fun and enjoyable!

When you said that they were like just in karaoke except they played the instrument themselves, so their concert was famous for luxury karaoke because they would play you the instrument and let the audience sing for them 😂 i happened to be in one of those concerts

Unfortunately no chance to see the boys now but you might be able to catch N.Flying. They are fantastic live, one of my fav songs is Sunset (live versiom). In case you are into Anime they did a insane cover of Gurenge (Lisa) . They also have a flawless discography but quite a different sound from Day6.
