I am wondering if the ZZ method on 3x3 will help you on Megaminx block building. Does anyone have the same thoughts?

It is not a viable method on the Megaminx unfortunately!

zz is possible but the way it is executed is slower than westlund (basically just f2l)

I personally solve megaminx with a very weird method that's similar to zz, but I don't recommend it, I just do it for fun and I'm slow

The ridges makes the Dayan Megaminx Pro M marginally larger, but other than that they are the same in size.
