@@erik_erikson this wasn't popular to begin with which might be the reason for it's dissapearance. old songs fade out but if they were popular there's always gonna be a preserved instance of it or a record and some group of people are always bound to remember it and show it to they're younger ones. we for sure don't give a shit about gregorian chant but it's been preserved because most people in it's time frame did. makes you wonder how many songs had the same fate as this one and just happen to be in someones hard drive

He said he recorded this from the car radio back in the 90s, and Shazam and neither any music recognition application recognize this song. This song was a mystery for 3 years, and people theorized it was a PSA song (but this theory turned out to be wrong). The identity of this song and the full song were found in mid-2023.

Most pre-relative early to mid 2000s songs go hard, this was at a time when the economy was literally at its peak and you had people left and right trying to make music like this There was no real "record monopoly" at the time. Artists weren't usually familiar with each other and each track was for the most part unique to their brand

Like the Wind is made by the Greek New Wave band “Statues In Motion. The song never got on the album (not knowing why). But if you listen to the other songs his voice is the exact one. The artist also mentions other songs that weren’t on the album but were broadcasted on radio anyway where “Like the Wind” was one of them. 🙏
