This bikes are manufactured in China. This bikes are named differently from different delearships, but came from the same manufacturers. Example: the Armada bikes in Surrey their Commander 3 is similar to that Daymak, but the difference is the name. I've seen this and a lot of different e motorbikes in Alibaba that only costs almost 2 grand in CAD. I am so happy that I saw your review about this bike.
@themidnightrider58154 жыл бұрын
You are right pretty much all the motorcycle style e-bikes are the same I believe with this one the only real big difference is the controller because not all of the bikes have a Bluetooth controller. As far as the bikes go on the Alibaba site yes they are cheaper but you have to take into consideration the freight and Duty costs to get them here to Canada or the US would be very expensive

Nice review, thanks. i was also expecting you to talk a bit about how far you can go on a single charge, how long it talks to charge, the noise levels etc....
@YTSBryce3 жыл бұрын
This wasn't a review, I don't think I did one on this bike. This was also quote a while ago, before I did much relating to bikes on this channel. Charging took between 6h and 9h depending on a lot of things, it's definitely a overnight charge kind of thing. Max distance I got was 40kms if I took it easy, and 30 if I went quicker. Was not very noisy at all. Main issue (and why I sold it) was the build quality Both of the frame and bodywork. Because it was matte, it felt like.cheap plastic and lowered the whole quality of the bike. Many body panels did not line up correctly. Frame rusted pretty easy. Ect.

@@YTSBryce Build quality on the Daymak is important since it is one of their most popular bikes. Thank you for pointing this out, since they are coming out with new models in 2023, will be interesting to see if they focus more on quality assurance, which I doubt. @YTSBryce5 жыл бұрын
It was purchased from E-Bike universe in Vancouver. It was assembled by them so a "unboxing" was impossible. Overall though, I really do like it. As for when he pulled me over, not much happened. I explained how it's a E-Bike, showed him documentation, etc. Since my goal in the future is law enforcement, we got along relatively good since I obviously understood where he was coming from with the traffic stop. I may or may not do more videos on the EM2, perhaps after the upgrades I get. But it's definitely very fun, just keep a eye on your speed. I ended up mounting a old phone to the handlebars for Google maps which shows your speed. Since here in Canada the max legal speed (on level ground, not down a hill for example) is 32km/h it's relatively important to keep it around that. Now, with that being said, I've done some testing on it with Google maps as a speedometer as well as the speed readers on some empty streets, and the fastest I got on level ground was 86km/h. The bike felt extremely stable at that speed with absolutely no issues. I definitely wouldn't recommend that for long periods of time as it will wear out the battery faster than normal. Anyway, if you have any questions feel free to ask!
