I'm done with Popeyes. The last few times I've gone to the one near me you can tell they're pre-made and just sitting in the bag under a heat lamp. Chicken isn't crispy, bun is soggy. I gave them a 2nd chance today but it happened again. How the mighty have fallen.

Delaware Popeye's doesn't charge for bags (yet) but we have banned plastic bags. No store, even Wal-Mart, has them. Some mom and pop stores still do but most places have paper bags that they charge for. I go to the walmart in Elkton, MD and they still have plastic bags which are free. Definitely a location thing at least for now

Hi Daym. I think the poultry industry is going through tough times. I got a grilled chicken sandwich at a local restaurant (new location for them), and it was sub-par. So the next day I went to Culver's and got another grilled chicken sandwich, and they gave me a gristly half-half chicken breast (a chicken only has one breast). They literally cut the piece of meat in half so I had to pull off at least 2" of bun. Culver's gave me the worst portion of the chicken breast. I don't have any solutions, except to say to stop ordering chicken for a few months. Now there's another round of bird flu, so maybe give it 6 months before buying more chicken.
