This was about the time that the Berlin wall came down and people were feeling empowered as Germany citizens united after many years. This song is powerful as it is about you speaking up for what you believe in as you have the right to voice your opinions. The voices of many can cause changes.

This song is Australia's secret weapon and is why we "punch above our weight" on the world stage compared to our population size in things like sport, inventions, presence in charity organisations, arts and performance (experimenting with playing it to babies in the womb is how we built the Hemsworth brothers, for instance). John has a lot of songs that have a message, That’s Freedom, The War is Over, See The Banners Fall, so many more and yes John always leaves you with a feeling of joy whatever he sings. There’s a interview with Richard Marx Where he describes John as the greatest singer today.That’s was Johns 25th Anniversary Richard and John have been friends for many years,Richard just recently paid Tribute to John just recently when doing a gig on the Gold Coast in Aussie

I would like to recommend you react to John Farnham with Richard Marx "The Reason Why", from the 1994 ARIA (AustralianRecording Industry Association) Awards. John has the voice that lends itself to most music styles; from exceptional ballads to great rock songs.

Can I request for you to react to a girl group from The Philippines called 4th Impact . They are 4 sisters with amazing harmonies that will leave you speechless. In 2015 they auditioned for X Factor UK and that video has almost 189 million views on you tube. In Feb 2023 they performed before 55, 000 people in manila. They have many cover songs and a few original songs on you tube. They WILL amaze you .

John FARNHAM is a FN Legend! I grew up with this AMAZING voice since the 70’s! Daisy, the cleaning lady! Lol! Not sure if U R AMERICAN, not surprising that his no one you’ve EVER heard of but rest assured, this song has been celebrated ON THE CONTINENT (Europe) in ALL their languages PLUS ,Celine Dion in CANADA 🇨🇦 NEVER IN THE US….
