Thank you Susan for your donations to The Local Cloth in Asheville NC. This was a flood of biblical proportions. People lost not only their houses, barns and small businesses, but the very land they stood on. Many human lives were lost, not to mention the loss of livestock. Asheville and the western NC mountains have attracted many fiber artists over the years. And many artists were born and raised there. Your contributions and those of others will be greatly appreciated I am sure.

I can hardly imagine what it has been, and is, like for those places affected. It seems so overwhelming. I am keeping everyone in my heart ❤️

Lovely vlog, dear Susan! I hope your throat is now fully recovered. I have spent a couple of days in Chicago recently, visiting the art institute and shops. You’ve given me inspiration for a voice over type of video. I am so glad you’re back podcasting. 🤗

Hi Susan. I am so sorry that your trip over to my home city was spoilt and cut short . What a shame. Thank you for the little clips of your visit though. I realise that I rarely take advantage of living in London, which I must make every effort to change x

Hi Nicola! I totally relate to not taking full advantage of a place when living there, I have done that lots of places. I've mused over that before, and I think it must have something to do with the fact we can do/see whatever 'anytime'- so that often had me ending up not doing it at all 😅 Hope you have some fun adventures 😊
