@barnabasjosettefan Thx. :) Thought it was appropriate since everyone seems to think the pairing is "impossible". With regards to offscreen, I was referring to their extended period of time as roommates in boarding school, plus a pic from the early 90s of the two of them kissing.

@barnabasjosettefan Ah, ok. I see what you are saying. My defense of Carly is that she felt so guilty about what happened to Jennifer, she married him herself as punishment. She was also still a bit amnesiac and hadn't remembered everything. As for Jenn, she did the "good girl" thing, and married Jack even though she ditched him for Carly regularly. Internalized homophobia.

@blue5522 Thank you. :) I love them back together again too! If I were writing this, Melanie would be CarJenn's daughter by in vitro, b/c she certainly doesn't act like Carly, but she does act like a teenage Jennifer (who was a little spitfire back then), and Danloe would fade into the woodwork, staying far away from CarJenn's orbit. Not to mention the idea of Carly having a one night stand is totally preposterous (the woman who married a man she refused to sleep w/ has a one night stand??)

@barnabasjosettefan I was a periodic Xena viewer (mostly b/c I wanted to throw things when they didn't put Xena/Gabby together). Bianca & Reese were cute. My other fav pairings are Helen/Nikki from Bad Girls, Bo/Lauren from Lost Girl,Blake/Doris from Guiding Light, Jane/Maura from Rizzoli and Isles, Alex/Olivia from SVU, Sue Ann/Cindy from Facts of Life, Paige/Alex from Degrassi, Sam/Janet from SG1, Susan/Talia from Babylon 5. I even like a few str8 pairings: Mulder/Scully, Max/Liz from Roswell

@GoAFemslash I haven't heard of a lot of those pairings. I am behind the times. LOL I love Mulder/Scully too. I have written some Reese/Bianca fan fic if you are interested. I am working on a great deal of fanfics currently. Also, I have 2 Xena/Gabrielle ones. My fanfics are very explicit, so keep that in mind if interested.

Just so you know, I would be totally for a Jennifer and Carly paring. I hope Days goes for it! We need more happy female same-sex couples on soaps. I loved Reese and Bianca on AMC, but the writers ruined that.

@barnabasjosettefan We def need more happy female same sex couples on soaps. I didn't mean to imply you couldn't like more than one pairing. It's just that Lawrence as a character used to give me nightmares when I was in my teens and back then, the pairing felt pushed because of their real life marriage (that and Bo/Hope was iconic). Jennifer and Carly would be an epic gothic romance. I mean, how many straight girls do you know would go as far as marrying someone to save their best friend?

I knew about Steve, but they rewrote history yet again when they brought Steve "back-from-the-dead" years later. I don't really "like" Jack persay (nor did I say you like him either), but some of the stuff he has done and said has been hillarious. Other times, he's just annoying. I have a feeling you feel I can't like more than one pairing.

Kewl. I am a HUGE Lawrence/Carly fan, but the show seriously screwed up their storyline, making Lawrence into a wife beater and baby killer. If Carly isn't with Lawrence... I would totally be intrigued if they put her and Jenn together.
