For this challenge, I totally agree. The surprise boxes are a pain for sure, but once you know the order they appear in, it becomes a whole lot easier. When the challenges were first introduced on days gone like the surrounded on the first week i though i was going to have a rough time they made them much easier to gold though if people having a hard time on surrounded they should get the patches from other challenges first

@@borislav247 my highest score on black friday is 900k i just need to get a ps5 its really hard to play days gone on the base ps4 bc of thedamn stuttering, 23-25 fps on hordes it really harde to move lol need to get ps5 for a much smoother experience all your vids help me get gold except the ambush cam rush becuase its so rng (luck) base other than that thank you for the tips and congrats on the leaderboards

I know they are crazy difficult to get right now.You obviously play the challenges a lot as you are absolutely bang on with 1 challenge that is genuinely down to a lot of luck , the AMBUSH CAMP RUSH.Was frustrating making the video for this one as SO MANY things can go wrong on any run on this challenge. The subchallenge for clearing the camp in under 3.5 minutes was the only one I could consistently replicate.The rest , a great number of things could go wrong. I feel you're pain for this challenge mate.

Yep , had it with 4K for the time being as youtube clearly favour channels that are monetized over channels like mine. Had a 4K video processing for close to a week and the HD hadn't even finished processing. Eventually removed it , and I'll stick with 1080 HD right now as they still look good. Unless your watching on a 4K tv , the 1080 doesn't look much different. Again thanks for watching mate.

I'm struggling very badly on this one, not because it's hard, it's actually quite easy I know what to do watching this, I just for some reason keep crashing like crazy. I'm on PC Btw been trying for like half a week. I just keep crashing and the crashes I get are quite close to gold also.

This is because I had just run up the multiplier very quickly with the growler. The multiplier not dropping is all about keeping action going throughout the course of a run, but when you use the growler, the multiplier goes up insanely fast. This is why I could afford to run about without firing for a bit. The growler gives you the time. You can run up the multiplier with other weapons, but nowhere near as quickly as you can with the growler.

Hi mate , I think i know what you may be doing wrong. Firstly , on this run I have the full benefit of +3 bullet penetration as I have completed the Ambush Camp Rush challenge to a Gold standard before attempting this challenge. That makes getting the gold with 1 growler very easy , but it's not essential to do this. I got a gold this afternoon using 1 growler without any benefits whatsoever . This is what I think you may be doing wrong on your runs. I think you're holding the fire button down constantly while using the growler. You waste a crazy amount of ammo if you do this. Pulse firing is the key here mate , and making sure you hit them when they are tightly bunched. On this very video I am pulse firing (it's difficult to notice when using the growler) . Without the +3 penetration you can still get around 500 kills as long as you don't go crazy on the trigger. Give it a shot and see how you get on mate.

Rikki has stamina for ages and quick af, how?

The stamina comes from the ring selection. The RAM rings restores stamina when climbing, so if you are constantly climbing or vaulting things, you're stamina lasts a long time and you can run for a long time. Not sure if I use one on this video, but you can also get stamina cocktails that allow you to run for a long time as well.

And something I forgot to mention in my last comment, I will have all the advantages of unlocked patches from other challenges, and one of these perks reduces stamina cost. Apologies for not mentioning that mate, as that plays a big part in the endless horde challenges.

I'm throwing a grenade into a big group and yet only getting 3 ears !!!!! Am I missing something?

Strange one mate, when you throw the grenade in are you getting 30 kills ? (this is the maximum damage you can do with a grenade) . It might be that you are making the kills but are too far away to collect the freaker ears. You have to be quite close to collect the freaker ears so you will have to head back over to the area where you threw the grenade. The other possibility is that you are throwing the grenage over the front section of the horde and catching stragglers at the back of it, as the freakers move quite quickly. I'd recommend you closely watching the multiplier or the total kill count when throwing the grenades, as if you register 30 kills, there will be 30 freaker ears waiting for you to collect, and you will see them on the mini map at the bottom right of the screen. On the black friday challenge, the key is to use the environment as much as possible, as the freakers cannot climb as fast as you. When you do establish distance,that's when you seriously unload with the weapons. Get familiar with the sawmill, and you will find you can keep your stamina in check by not having to run as much.

If you are getting that amount mate, you potentially have 2 issues. First is that you are holding the fire button down for the growler and not letting go. This wastes bullets, as you are essentially putting at least 2 bullets through each freaker due to the fire rate. Just use small fire bursts for more kills. The Second problem could be that you currently don't have the patch perk from the Ambush Camp Rush challenge. If you don't have this in place, you will always get less kills, as that bad boy is extra bullet penetration. Hope all this helps mate.

Like I don't get this, why does your character self heal when my doesn't?? Like I've got the fucking headshot health increase perk in the main story, but It doesn't work for me

You have just answered your own question. The headshot health increase perk in the main story has no bearing on the challenge whatsoever. I don't the ability to self heal until I purchase the appropriate perk on the Black Friday challenge. Go to 6:14 on the video, as it's here that I use 250 freaker ears to purchase the HEAD RUSH perk. It's only after this that I get health back from headshots.
