I'm going to the Indy one in June. My 3rd year buy will be the first time dressing up. I'm doing the Day of the Dead sugar skull looked. Had to ask for opinions to make sure it wouldn't be offensive to them and they were cool about it. So I have a dress I got in Mexico once and I'm going all out with hair and makeup. Already got my photo op tickets, and requested that Saturday and Sunday off and I'm excited.

She should definitely try it out. The community at a horror con is what makes it the best to me. No judgement and a very welcoming atmosphere. And I am lucky for many reasons with my wife but her being into horror also is a major plus!!!
