Hello ASL Heroes!!! Hey, I could really use your help. If you’ve enjoyed having access to an expert in ASL you can help me continue my work for you. A small monthly donation from you would instantly make a big difference here at the studio because teachers don’t earn much and I could use some help paying for server and domain hosting for Lifeprint.com. Right now you can help out a humble (not to mention kind, caring, generous, compassionate, helpful, friendly, fair, and hard-working) ASL teacher -- just go here and a few clicks later you too will be a true “ASL Hero!” www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=64QMBRBXQSV6G For more donation options, see: Lifeprint.com/donate Thanks! - Dr. Bill

Hello! I am a daycare teacher and use basic sign to communicate with my youngest students. I’ve always felt like there may be a day where I will need to know more sign-so I’m starting now! Your content makes me want to come back for more! I love that you use vocabulary to combine into natural speak instead of me just learning a whole bunch of signs I can’t put together. Keep it up!

Moffia momma says I hug virtually all ppl who try their best to communicate with others... They ur guest is just darling. Very smooth and patient with her self to feel the regurgitation of vocab and sentence structure context sign? Cgot confuse a lil when u mixed up the order but I just want to puff out my chest and say (((so proud))) sign!!! Also thank u so much for ur patients and gift to teach us with such a sense of humor!

I picked up a version of "Party", I think from ASL Interactive, swing the Y's with an alternating downbeat left-right, make puffy splode at bottom of downbeats~ Instead of momentum side-side one behind other, momentum goes down on left, then down on right, back-forth, fast, both hands same height.

I’m HOH I’m learning ASL bc I’ve been told my hearing may/may not get worse. I think it’s awesome that you take the time to properly show the different versions of some signs. Hopefully with enough practice, I can one day become ASL Certified 🥰

Learning ASL is an excellent endeavor. It will help if the people in your life also make the effort to learn. The easier and more structured you can make the process for them the more likely they will actually put in the effort. You might want to consider copying and pasting the info below into you prefered social media and share it with your social network and encourage them to practice signing with you. Best wishes and warm regards. ---------------------------------------- How to use ASL University to learn sign language for free: 1. I have a question: how different is American SL to British SL? ❤😊
@sign-language
@sign-language 10 ай бұрын
BSL: Uses a two-handed manual alphabet, where the letters are represented using both hands (except letter "C." ASL: Uses a one-handed manual alphabet, similar to the one used in LSF. Many signs in BSL and ASL are completely different. For instance, the sign for "name" in BSL is different from that in ASL. The influence of LSF (French Sign Language) is more evident in ASL, while BSL has evolved more independently.
