Hi Jake lovely video of beautifully restored buses and vehicles. Dad was interested in knowing the fleet number on the RMA. We've had look on the net, but not been able to find out. Dad thinks it maybe one of RMA's that were used as staff buses at Aldenham and based at the nearby LCBS and LT garages.

@@JakeSCOC Hi Jake we found a you tube of Aldenham RMA's from 1986. The third bus scene is 52. Dad remembered that 19 and 52 where allocated to Garston(Watford) from the early eighties. Dad was at Two waters(HH) as garage forman. But we lived on the woodside estate in Garston(GR). He left LCBC in 1985 to work for Priemer Albanian Coaches. Thank you so much.

@@jadeboswell-rz2ly Hi Jade. So glad you found the video and that your Dad remembers this old girl. It's always nice to find out vehicles that you've encountered through life have survived and are being restored. He worked at London Country during an interesting period in my opinion, when things were becoming more NBC and less LT. Glad it brought back good memories.

I think we need a full National Bus Museum, that displays vehicles and holds archives for all operators (we have one for Trolleybuses) obviously a lot of local museums also have some "out of area" vehicles - LT RTs in St Helens for example. In London we have two/three (plus Ensign covering South Essex too and North Weald/Epping Ongar Railway) - LT Museum, LT Depot and London Bus Museum - which is co-located out at Brooklands and not easily accessible by bus.

@@highpath4776 It would be nice and of course a good idea. A bit like the railway museum at York but for buses and road transport. It does seem crazy that some of the most important road transport artifacts are in private hands....

@@JakeSCOC I have a document collection (prob duplicates most of the Omnibus Society and similar ones). Would you like it (not many timetables, its more parlimentary reports, etc and wont include the "Buses" magazine etc, but would have many other leaflets mainly Southern England
