Days spent at Noro Lodge. What kind of morning does Aty spend? [Noro Lodge Life]

We wake up at 6:00 to 7:00 a.m., and after eating breakfast, we go for a walk.
My broken right ankle is much better now and I can walk again, so we have been taking a walk for one to two hours every morning for rehabilitation.
On this day, we went for a walk with the staff of Noro Lodge.
Please enjoy watching us taking a leisurely walk.
The following is a list of frequently asked questions.
Q. How much time does Aty have to walk every day?
A. One to two hours. The distance is 2km to 5km.
Q. Is it safe for Aty's paw to walk on the road?
A. Aty's paw pads are very hard and strong because he swims and walks in the river every day, so a walk of 4 to 5 km is no problem.
Otters that don't go outside much may damage their paw pads, so it is best to keep their walks to about 1 to 2 kilometers.
If they are dry, their paw pads will crack regardless of the walk. Moisturizing is important in winter.
Q. Does Aty swim in the river even in winter?
A. Yes, Aty swims all year round. Recently, on sunny days, he swims in the river whenever he feels like it.
Q. How is Mr.Cat?
A. He's doing well. He is very friendly with the staff and sometimes spoils them.
At night, both Aty and Mr.Cat sleep in my bed.
Q. How is your broken leg?
A. I'm able to walk now. But I still can't run or carry heavy things.... Rehabilitation is the only way.
Q. Aren't your feet cold?
A. Yes, it is cold. But I dare to go barefoot.
Since there are bolts in the fractured part of my foot, it gets inflamed when I walk and gets hot and painful.
I need to cool it down, so bare feet are good for that. I sleep warm at night.

Her name is Yukie. I think of her as Obaasan, or grandmother. She loves the otters and Otterman. The best part, she’s always ready to be with them. Obaasan was the first to help calm Ui and to trust other people.

He looked so cool in his coat. He sure was bummed when he couldn't go to the waterfall. Poor guy, chirping away wanting to go but you had to nurse that bum ankle. If you were to injure it again you might not be able to take him there next summer either right? Gotta take care of yourself if you're going to be able to take care of anyone else like those three cute little critters you have, although I'm sure the cat doesn't require much maintenance. I was able to get through the whole video but, just to let you know, it was too long for one setting. I paused it and came back to watch the rest but many will just leave after they get tired and not come back. But I enjoyed it. Aty is an awesome little dude!
