Great video. I will have the last part for my .30 Delta Wolf by next Wednesday and will be setting it up on Thursday. I finally feel like I understand the hammer voltage and dwell time. This is what we needed. Most of us know how to put air in an airgun, pellets in a magazine, take off the safety and pull the trigger. Way to go! I’ll just use the included sets at first, but after that, the possibilities are endless. Later, when barrels are available in other calibers, I can start over again. Tuning will never be the same. Great demo, Jarred. The live view of reg pressure is really cool. I am patiently waiting for Daystate to eliminate the screen in favor for Bluetooth connectivity. This would allow them to reduce complexity & cost while greatly improve the UI running on a much larger smart phone screen. You don't have unwanted light coming from your gun (they had to add settings to manage). You will be able to see the screen while you shoot, and it's not left/right hand specific. They will be able to improve the app independently of the hardware and it will become an assert in itself they can reuse across models. If they also figure out how to wireless charge the gun they would have an easier time sealing the electronics against moisture. That said the USB C charging option was good step forward. The next large step would be to provide an interface to an electronic scope to eliminate the rezeroing exercise that is now required whenever you diddle with any setting, change of ammo, caliber/barrel change. Also, they should figure out how t add semi-auto on these guns. Till then, the best option (IMHO), is still just owning multiple guns for each use case.

Thanks for the great video. As I understand it, as someone more familiar with the Impact: DW "voltage" = Impact hammer adjustment + power wheel DW "dwell-time" = Impact valve-travel adjustment DW "regulator pressure" = Impact regulator pressure (natch) Except that all three are easier to adjust and monitor on a DW. There are a coulple of things I'd like to know, though, one major, and one minor: 1. Where can I find an open database of tried-and-tested settings for slugs? 2. Is it possible to reset the magazine counter?

OK, so the magazine counter reset is just a matter of turing the counter off and on again - should have guessed that. Now I'm trying to figure out how to delete profiles created in "advanced" mode. The manual says you can swipe right, but this just scrolls through the settings.

An excellent in depth overview of the Delta Wolf. Really enjoyed this video, great explanation of the advanced settings for voltage etc. One question I have, is the software intelligent enough to only let you make changes that are in a safe parameter range, for example if you change the reg pressure the software will only allow you to select parameters for voltage, hammer spring etc within a safe range so you can’t damage the gun? My questions-What is the absolute range low/high for the regulator? What is the range for the hammer spring tension/dwell? What is the range for the voltage? For a .30 caliber Delta Wolf: What is the recommend regulator setting range? What is the recommended hammer spring/dwell setting range? What is the recommended voltage setting range? The manual says when you adjust the pellet speed setting, there will be a table of attainable speeds-I see no table Can the Delta Wolf be un-cocked? If not what happens if you load a pellet and the gun will not fire? How can you unload it? How many profiles does the Delta Wolf hold? What happens if I exceed the maximum number of profiles? How can I delete profiles I no longer need?

Can the barrel easily be removed from the shroud (and chrony)? I'd like to do a really good cleaning of the barrel. I've put roughly 1500 rounds through it and want to use more aggressive cleaners and polishers (Hoppes #9, JB's Bore & Brite, etc.) without harming any seals and/or O-rings>

How does the gun deal with the slight regulator creep that happens when the gun has not been used for a while? On the factory setting mode, does the computer take the regulator pressure reading into account when firing the first shot? From my experience on a 550mm barrel, a 10 bar increase in regulator pressure translates to about 20 FPS difference. How about in the manual mode? Since the Delta Wolf is using an electronic valve where the dwell and lift are not affected by the pressure inside the plenum, should I expect a more linear correlation in FPS increase due to reg creep than with a mechanical PCP?

While it is reading pressure and making adjustments, simply firing off a shot before shooting after a long storage will allow the reg to reset. Like any other regulated model.

Well that is all nice an all . But how does it work with an suppressor or silencer ? I ask DonnyFL about it and his tech support told me that the test that they did messed up the Electronics on the DDW . And that concerns me if I'm going to spend $ 3500 on a air rifle .

Works great. Anybody telling you otherwise has no experience with it or is spreading bad information. The electronics cannot be "messed up" by suppression that happens past the muzzle. We have tested hundreds of thousands of rounds with a 0dB Moderator. Go with one of them for best results.

I have owned 3 daystates and I currently own yet another but this is simply way too expensive for the vast majority of people here in Britain and has so many potential things that could go wrong. I would be scared to take it out to shoot it in case I cracked the led screen.
