It's always good when citizens engage in city functions, especially commission meetings. Engagement is good. Unfortunately, some may take great care in prep to articulate their message effectively but do not realize that often their points or comments are deeply discounted or even lost because their appearance flagrantly disregards the common expectations of decorum when appearing in public.
