With this kit do you not need to mount a fcu? Just straight up air from the tank with the regulator?

I was wondering if the charging handle will hit you if you shoot left-handed....always wanted a l85 but the charging handle thing stopped me

proper shooting position and the kit out of factory is like 1/3 short stroke. It will not travel all the way back.

Regardless of short stroke, it will hit you in the face if you shoulder it properly. Unfortunately that's just one of the downsides of the SA80 platform. It's also why all British soldiers learn how to shoot right handed.

If you mount an Elcan with back up red dot using the red dot can let you shoot left with some practice but it’s a bit unnerving to start with
