If those stats are accurate and 90% of the people who tried day trading fail and move on to something else, I believe it’s because they thought it would be easier and decided to go the easy route and work for a guaranteed paycheck every week or they gave up and didn’t give themselves enough time to become successful. I’m a firm believer that we can do anything we’re willing to work for and not give up. Some people take a year, others take several years but anyone can do it if they don’t give up

True I think if you become profitable in the range from 3 to 6 years you did well cuz IS the time It takes to end the average degree IS the time It takes to test diferent strategys methods backtests papertrade fail many times stand Up again fail again try again take time off for mental resets try forex, futures go to stocks then after having all the tecnical análisis testing more strategys than u can count you realise that the simpler and strategy the better and you start realising the importance of psicology and to follow ur plan the click starts to come and Yeah all what I said can take many years if try and error soo feel proud if you are turning the corner and making money more consistently because everyone makes money 100% of traders can make money what makes you profitable IS can u keep It ? Ross this was a great comparison video. I checked into Trader Rebab today took 3 trades, small size, all green +$59. I was trading much larger size over the last few weeks and took 100s in losses due to over trading and not sticking to the basics. This is absolutely true. I started my account in September with a cash account at $100. I’m up to almost 5k with a win average of 68%. I trade conservatively and I’m only looking for a 2:1 profit ratio. I might make 10, 15, 20 cents of profit per share, but it’s working very well for me. Start small and grow your nest.

Awesome video. Very educational. In conclusion, it's not the profit amount you are trying to achieve, ( Everyone has a different account size.) but a system that works to generate consistent profits. Only been interested in the possibility of trading in the last week. So many on You tube, promoting big bull push, leaps and puts. Others dive into large break outs, mass profits. Your straight forward transparency of basic format. Go slow.Take the base hits regardless which league you are in. Small % profits are still profits. Simulate, get your skills, go in small and work your way up. Progress in small accounts, increases as the skill set grows. Keep your strategy simple. Question from a newbie. What is the best way to find stocks that are volatile enough ( fluctuate within the day going up and down ) but have smaller caps that are more affordable to buy? I love maple syrup and candy I don't know about that it took that much work. I quit trading because I got a broker doing my trading and lost 2 times. So I didn't want to give up and studied hard and became a profitable day trader. Then stopped trading for 20 year's. I loved this video. I'm a big fan of maple syrup, so it was fascinating to watch the process, but also to learn about how to be profitable. It's easy to see the times when a stock jumps up rapidly and assume that's the norm, and that becomes the goal. I think that can lead traders to hold on to a stock too long hoping to hit a homer instead of just taking small profits and end up losing what could have been a winner. Or not bailing out when you hit your stop. Seeing that your average winners are .14 a share really had some impact. Sure you have some monster days when the market is hot, but it seems like most of your positive trades come from base hits that seem larger because you're able to scale up. Extremely informative!

You know what, I started trading in 2020 and I used to trade TSLA specifically, often turning 1 $700 contract to $1200. Imagine now trading SPY specifically and taking profits on 10¢ moves with 100+ contracts. IMHO, most people just don't have the upfront cost.

The absolute number one reason why people look for bigger gains than experienced traders is because experienced traders usually don't have a PDT restriction so it's nothing to them to get 10% 20 % moves while people who only have three day trades a week try to hold to see a nice amount of gains
