I want to let you know that the emotions in trading have been the hardest part, and the light that you shed on your dealing with emotions and sometimes succumbing to them has been very helpful. I started trading at the beginning of September. I started out terribly and was down $1391 and turning that round to being up $2500 at the end of that week. I then took a ridiculous loss and had my account down -$1468. A $4000 dollar loss in a single day. I then took a step back, followed the advice in your videos and was able to recoup with steady gains and very managed red days. Now my account is back up positive $713 dollars. I had a 71 percent accuracy today, unfortunately my losers were bigger than my winners. My two losers were UAVS bought at 726 am and SGMT bought at 732 am. I bought just in time for the dump on both of these stocks. The other 5 trades were mostly small green trades. I will admit I never really understood the erratic behavior of Chinese stocks. They can climb cleanly, Above the VWAP, Positive cross on MACD, and good volume, and switch to RED with no clear warning signs. Often they will do it on the same candle which was hitting new highs. In the final analysis, there is only a lonely wick sitting on top of the red candle you bought in at. Green trades were SLXN, DUO, SGMT, MGRX, and finally SGMT. I watched the first few minutes of the Open, but just could not gauge the rhythm of things. It seemed like the right time to sit on my hands and learn. Not a lot to play, other than penny stocks pre-session, and I am less than fond of them.

Build up a track record of consistent profitability with tiny size literally 1-4 shares prior to using bigger share size. There’s a lot of emotion with trading, keep going brother. If you already have a track record of consistent profitability of at least 3 months and are just in a drawdown, that happens and is normal as long as you have already proven to be profitable as this is a temporary setback

Regular hours look better hind sight after the day is over and we had a few runners. At 9:30am you are chasing every stock that pops on low volume. It's better to focus on premarket high volume stocks with news and just wait for the optimal entry. Sometimes I skip the morning trading and look for entry after 2pm when the shorts end of day cover their gains. When a stock retraces back 50%+ the EOD cover usually yields at least 10%.

Yes! thickly traded is when a stock has a lower float and lots of volume but the price is not moving up or down with that volume as it rotates shares.. If you look at a large cap stock you will see how they trade "thick" or no price action

Because his account is large he goes by shares and his stop is on a stock by stock basis. His daily goals are .005% gain or $5000. I would say only make trades in which your stop loss is no more than 2% of your account AFTER being successful in a simulator. May God bless you!

Use stops based on the stock. If you wanna risk 100$ on a stock, do so, if you're just starting, go literally 2-3 shares until you get the hang of it. It will take years anways. Dont rush it!

I had a great day in option world. My SPY puts I got on yesterday pop at closed paid off. They actually opened red so I grabbed more and boom, market sells off. Got 400%. Also had FedEx puts and got 100%, took another 30% on puts and 30% on calls then took a few hundred dollars loss at end of day. I’m a bear, straight put king right here so I love this market weather

Hey Ross, what about scalping on the short side? For example, instead of shorting and holding XHG, why not scalp it the same way as we do with momentum stocks squeezing up. The chart on XHG looked perfect on the short side once it started dumping. Also, the risk of halts is minimal since you can always exit at the halt level. Please correct me if I missed something.

How can you always be so ready on squeezes of stocks that have already moved? I mean, if it is a new stock squeezing it hits the scanners. But when it does 20\30 cents squeeze in the back side of the move, by the time it hits the scanner the move has already ended.

The scanner will pick them up as they move up higher but they are not all squeezes. many of these stocks are just moving up as buyers are buying up the good news

Didn't expect this day...No news, no catalysts, had a weird ADV delay on EONR. The dollar positive news today sucked all the volume out of the stock market. Odd first day of the month, gotta stay disciplined. A lot of small caps that traded good a month ago got de-listed...today was TBIO removed from Nasdaq.
