I've been day trading since March. I had my "big loss" I took a step back and moment to get over it. Got back in because I'm not going to let it stop me from something I am truly interested in. Plus, loss is a part of learning when it comes to trading. In March I started with 10 shares. I have worked my way from 10 to 50 to 100 to 200 to now trading 300 shares. There wasn't a set time it was more so when I felt ready to size up. I have been tracking my P/L and currently mainly taking 1 trade a day (sometimes I'll do 2-3) I have had on avg 3 losses or so per month the last couple months. If you're interested take your time. Take what Ross teaches and really listen and be disciplined. The discipline and following strategy is where it's at.

if your looking for one trade a day what exactly are you looking for before you punch the buy botton?
@jacquelinemarie5025Ай бұрын
@@CoolBuddy9847 I work FT so I am typically in pre-market only if I see a stock with momentum, news as a catalyst, volume, low float like Ross talks about. If I don't see one or am weary I don't trade. I check the market again while I'm on my lunch hour and have traded during that time.

Thanks again Ross !! .... After paper trading for almost a year, I was able to setup an account last February with $25k that I don't touch ... I put another $4k on top of that that I actually trade with and I am disciplined enough to keep everything in that $4k window. I don't use any of my buying power when I could at $116k, but instead my buying power is limited to just what's over the $25k "hard stop" I have put in place. Here it is, almost the end of August and I am still going strong and in the green. As you described in the video, I took a hit "learning curve" that nearly took me all the way down to rock bottom ($400 of that $4k) where week after week I was going down ... then I started to become level. Now I can say that my current trend is consistently up and I am well over the $4K that I had started with. ... my latest trend out of 27 trades has been all GREEN with the exception of one RED. Thank You !! I couldn't have done it without you Ross.

Ross is unquestionably the best expert on KZbin when it comes to advising daytraders. I am already a consistently successful trader and daytrader, have done tens of thousands of trades over the years, and I can relate to everything Cameron says. I will keep watching his expert videos because no matter who you are, or how successful, there is always room for learning and improvement. What I find simply stunning is how Cameron so generously shares his accumulated know-how with everyone!!!

I've appreciated all your lessons and knowledge you've shared. It has taught me a lot and helped me set a good foundation for my day trading journey. What I've been doing lately is screen recording my level 2 and T&S along with my charts to help me identify good entries for breakouts and when a good exit would be. I'm also compiling data on other pattern's that I can go back and review later so I can get better or to avoid possible bad trades or false breakouts. This has definitely helped me a lot to get to the next level in my trading and has really helped me with reading level 2 and T&S instead of just relying on chart patterns. Keep up the great work Ross!!

I don't know why I hadn't considered day trading for income, but listening to you, after having experience in most of these areas, it sinks in at a different level (I started trading in the spac warrants -vtiq to nkla was literally my first stock). Anyway took a small swing at inm, made a profit so tried with more powder on mnts, wasn't looking to catch the whole thing, just in and out with my 20 percent and happy as a clam. Thank you for helping. For those that have experience, id recommend coming back to see Ross' vids for a brush up, you'll see it from a different perspective than when you were just starting.
