Very well explained. You’re a very good teacher and the explanation on hidden (dark orders) far exceeds most traders level of competency. The biggest thing I have gotten concerns the number of shares. Hands down, Ross, you blow all the trainers I have paid to attend course and when I started owe had to fly to their location and pay for a hotel room, air fares, car rentals and meals. A five training course that was really not strategy based cost double what you charge for a year at Warrior and that was in dollars 25 years ago. Under 5k is a bargain and it isn’t for 5 days. The company I went to Texas from Florida to spend a week in class is STILL using the same animated slides that show what is going on and how it works but never touched on any of the nuances such as this L2 explanation.

Nice video! I trade with TD Ameritrade (Thing or Swim) and I like how they integrated level 2 in the Active Trading ladder. I can see the total bid/ask size at each price level. I find it a lot easier to look at than the standard level 2 window. I'm curious on what other users think.

Have you ever seen eye trackers? I think it would a cool video where as you're live trading there is an eye tracker showing what you're looking at and when. So paired with your commentary, you can see your thought process of when you're watching the chart, bouncing to level 2 and the tape, etc.

Hi Ross! Thank you for your video. Would like to clarify regarding the "upper hand" that you mentioned @ 6mins mark. If there's 4 buyers at $2.25 and there's only 2 sellers at $2.26. Wouldn't the sellers have the upper hand? If buyers were to buy that 13k shares at $2.26, the price would have moved to $2.27 Would appreciate your thoughts on this. Thank you!

Questions: Don't some people prevent their trades from showing on the LEVEL 2 somehow? What % of people do that? How does buying on the bid work if that level is a buyer, not a seller? Does buying on the big get your order treated differently by zero-commission outlets like TD Ameritrade? I'm currently learning with Webull, trading single shares, and my buy/sell entries look like winners visually, but in my trade history im losing a small percent. Also, with all the white colored text, in the sales window, how can you factor that in?

TD Ameritrade offers level 2 that doesn't require additional market data. We'd recommend checking with them to confirm this as these things can change.
