is this game worth getting? They released a new map "Frostline" but if I just get the base game, can I still use modded servers or I have to get the DLC?

Hey mate, I've been playing video games for over 30 years. DayZ is the only game I still play. For me, it's the (almost) perfect game so definitely worth it. You don't need the DLC to play modded (community) servers, but you do need the DLC to play the Sakhal map.
