This video gives a full tutorial on the Expansion Mod base building. Since the release on the 1st June 2020, there has been quite a few questions on how to build properly, utilising all functionality and understanding resources required.

if someone does not have a territory or aren’t on the server you’re playing players can glitch build with a staircase to get thru buildings

Is there a way to rotate the floor when placing the kit? Sometimes I only have one way to face the placement but want the boards in perpendicular to that direction

Also you can Loot through Walls, Doors, Roofs, Ramps, Stairs

I haven't actually experienced this issue, as could quite possibly due to the server settings in place as most is customisable

Is there no way to turn off the snapping? Makes it impossible to build in houses and just cover the entrances since it will snap onto the other wall from 10m away

Build a land claim kit, and destroy. 3 rags and 3 sticks combine

Can you place walls by themselves? Like if I wanted to block off a doorway with a wall, could I do that without having to place a floor to snap the wall to?

Having an issue with the codelocks after inputting the code it only allows me to open and close doors once and only once then having to re input the code again Any answers to this problem would be greatly appreciated

This is the same at the moment for all servers. I'm sure as expansion is developed further this will be incorporated

Hey, use a flag kit / land claim using three stick and a rope which gives you building privileges to destroy

I wish they would just add a blueprint book/ crafting UI. It feels like a waste up time having to search the internet to figure stuff out all the time. Is there a game that has Dayz looks with something between Dayz and Rust for crafting? I like Rust base building but it can feel a little too accessible at times allowing people to toss a raid base up in 10 seconds but the Dayz feels inaccessible because it takes hours just to build a crumby tower. I guess I'm looking for the Exile experience in a game built for it.

I think another attributing factor is who you play with in terms of experience. Combined that with 2-3 players makes the entire experience much more easier, learnable and fun!

Problem is, if someone boosts on top of the base, they can dismantle the 'roof' because its actually a floor...

if you raise territory on that base noone outside territory can dismantle anything.At least where I play.

Use a saw in regular logs don't make planks click next option and make that
